Yesterday was Father's day celebration in our church, it was the final Father's day activity for this year and it was a very colorful day even though i wasn't present in the church premises when it took place. The president of the altar servers association in my church and I attended a deanery meeting yesterday so we couldn't make ourselves present in our own church after the 9am mass.
Majority of our members in the association refused to attend the meeting because of the Father's day program, obviously it was because they want to eat rice in the association. I was so excited that I attended the meeting that day because I haven't attended any of them this year except the one my church hosted in May 2025.
When I came back home after the meeting my mum told me alot of things that happened in the church premises after the last mass for yesterday. She said alot of awards were given to different people who deserved them and some people also supported them with huge amount of money. The Father's has been playing a football match too and the group that a man that's like a Father to me is, won the football competition.
The footballers in the groups were given a medal each and also a trophy, they are very good footballers who love football so much and this man is in a football team, he has played so many many matches with his teammates over there and I'm so happy that his group won the competition. I once talked about one of the training section he had with his teammates few months ago here in steemit.
Alot of foods and drinks were shared yesterday and am glad my mum brought a take away plate of rice home for me to eat because I wasn't able to be in the church that moment. Father's day celebration in my church is always massive and from what my mum told me yesterday evening am convinced this year's own was also massive. Alot of visitors were also in the church yesterday to support their family and friends.

Happy new week bro, I hope you arrived home safely yesterday after the meeting. The Father's day celebration was nice and my mum also kept small rice for me to eat.
I'm glad this month deanery meeting was successful and as for the boys that refused to join us in the meeting I won't blame them much, the Father's day celebration really carried them away.
