SFS Contest Picture of the Day Week 41

Saturday is for a wedding and last week Saturday was the wedding of my cousin's brother which was an interesting day indeed.

Everyone was happy that my cousin's brother had finally gotten married, and his wedding took everyone by surprise. For some years now, he has told and encouraged me to get married as he is no longer a baby, which he paid a deed ear, but he finally did his wedding last week Saturday.

The picture shows how people gathered to celebrate with him the first picture was taken after the blessings of marriage in the church. In the picture, it is the family of both the bride and the groom that gathered to take the picture. The picture looks beautiful and it was taken under a shade.

The second picture which you see above was taken before going to the reception ground for the proper celebration of the wedding. In Nigeria, after the blessings of marriage, the next is taking pictures and then going to the reception ground, where gifts and other things are shared/given to the celebrants of the day.

It was fun, and everyone who attended the wedding was happy with the atmosphere because the bride and the groom are good people in the community and they are well respected.
