What Is Water Fall
Waterfall is a stage in a river or stream where water flows downward from a height. This can be caused by the process of erosion. Erosion plays a key role in the formation of the waterfalls as the soft topsoil is washed away, leaving the hard rock for downward flow.
Waterfalls help to improve the quality of air, which promotes relaxation. Waterfalls can serve as a tourist centre where people from far and near visit to watch nature on display.
Materials For Drawing
- Plain A4 paper
- Pencils
- Eraser
- Sharpener
Step 1
I began by first writing my name and date on the paper. The next thing I did was to draw the hard rock on the left-hand side. I shaded the rock and on it, I drew some trees which have their roots on the rock.
Step 2
Here, I drew another rock on the right-hand side and shaded it appropriately. The water flows in between the rocks.
Step 3
I drew some trees on the rock that is on the right-hand side. I also shaded the cloud above the rock using my pencil. Again, I showed how the water flows from the top of the rock.
Step 4
I drew another level of the rock a little below the top level. I also drew and shaded some trees on the rock.
Step 5
At the ground level, I also drew some rocks that are found in the water. The rocks are shaded in such a way that they blend with the water. Again, I shaded the rock to show that the environment was cloudy. Finally, I drew the reflections of the rocks in the water.
Step 6
Here, I shaded a man who wore a hat on his head and was standing on one of the rocks.
