A day in my life during Ramadan DATED: 10-3-2025
Assalam-mu-Alaikum to all my steemit friends today I am telling you about my daily routine in Ramzan.
It is the month of Ramadan (also spelled Ramadhan or Ramzan) and millions of Muslims worldwide are observing this holy month with fasting community reflection and prayer
What is Ramadhan:
Ramadhan is the most blessed month in the Islamic calendar. The Islamic holy book “Quran” was first revealed to our [Prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him] during this month through Angel Gabriel.
There are a few practical routine in Ramadhan which I try to complete.
Performing 5 times daily prayers:
- Completing the recitation of the holy Quran to complete of 30 chapters or [Parah].
- Donating a charity every day to poor people.
- And also perform taraweh [special prayer at night time] .
What is my daily routine like during the month of Ramadhan?
I woke up at 4am and eat SUHOOR (morning meal to start the fast) anytime before the first of our five prayers which is at 5am currently. For this breakfast I like to eat some salad and chicken and special [chai] and plenty of fruit and water for hydration and energy throughout the day. then I will go to the mosque to perform the FAJR prayer before sunrise.
Then I go to the bed for sleeping. Then I again woke up at 7:15 and get ready for my college. After thet when I came to the house its about 1 o’clock { 2nd time prayer] to perform the ZUHR prayer} and then I prepared my self for mosque to perform prayer after that when I came to home then I sleep and wake up at 5:00 o’clock to perform prayer for a day 3rd time ASR and then. The evening meal with which we break our fast is called “Futoor”.
6:18 PM | Iftaar:
Finally it’s time to end my fast. This meal is known as iftaar
Fasts are traditionally starting and its sunnah by having dates and water but a fast can be ended by eating any type of food.
With my family iftaar includes lots of tasty traditional South Asian treats such as samosas, kebabs , biryanis and fruit chat It feels very rewarding to eat together and it makes me grateful for all the good things I have in my life.
8:00 PM | Isha Prayer:
Isha prayer is the Final prayer of the day. performing this prayer helps me to relieve any worries or stresses that I have experienced during the day so that I can sleep as peacefully as possibly.
After the prayer i go to bed ready for the next day of fasting.
