Introducing the Community Curator Analytics Tool in SteemStats
I wanted to share something I've been working on that I'm really excited about. As part of the Community Curators team, I built a tool that provides deep insights into the voting activities of the Community Curator teams.
This is actually my first major contribution as a witness candidate! If you find this tool helpful, I'd really appreciate your vote for my witness kafio.wit - it would mean so much to have your support as I work to contribute more tools and innovations to our Steem community. How I Got Here
When I became a mentor for the Tech Club, I created my first tool in SteemStats called Community & Tag Analytics to analyze posts by tags and communities on the platform. I just wanted to see what was trending and understand content patterns better.
Now that I'm a SteemCurator, I've added another powerful tool to SteemStats - the Community Curator Analytics. This new addition to SteemStats is specifically designed to analyze how curator teams work and vote across the platform.
What This Tool Does
The Community Curator Analytics Tool is a dashboard that provides comprehensive insights into curator activity. It helps curators make better decisions, understand the impact of their votes, and monitor the performance of the teams
Main Features:
Curator Performance Tracking
- See how different curator accounts vote
- Find out which communities, authors, tags, and countries get votes from each curator
- Check if they're voting on posts or comments
- Get details like average word count and images in curated content
Visual Dashboard
- Charts showing content spread across communities
- Maps showing global curation patterns
- Engagement trends over time
- Filters to focus on specific curators or content
How to Use It
It's pretty straightforward:

- Pick a curator account from the dropdown (steemcurator02, steemcurator03, etc.)

- Choose your date range
- Hit "Load Curator Stats"
The tool analyzes voting patterns and figures out who's behind each curator account by looking at their comments.
How I Track Individual Curators
Here's something interesting I discovered: I can tell which curator made each vote by looking at their comments. Many people write "curated by "@username"" in their comments, so I built the tool to detect this phrase.
If I see "curated by "@username"," I know who made that vote. If not, it gets marked as "unknown."
Quick suggestion: If you're a curator, try to always include "curated by @username" in your comments. It makes tracking much more accurate. Maybe @steemcurator01 or @steemcurator02 could make this an official rule?
What You Get from the Dashboard
Once your data loads, you'll see:
- Visual charts showing content distribution and community engagement
- Filter options for specific curators, content types, communities, or dates
- Detailed stats on word counts, images, engagement, and voting values
- Interactive elements to drill down into specific data
- Export options to download CSV files
Who This Helps
For Curators:
- Understand your voting patterns and spot any biases
- Track your performance across different communities
- Make sure you're curating fairly across topics and regions
- Generate reports for community updates
For the Steemit Team:
- Monitor all curator accounts
- Ensure transparency in the curation system
- Track the effectiveness of different teams
For the Community:
- Get transparent reports and accountability
- Track club activities and engagement
- Monitor fair distribution of curation
What's Coming Next
I'm always working to make SteemStats better:
- Mobile-friendly interface for the Community Curator Analytics tool
- Make the Community & Tag Analytics tool as advanced as the Community Curator Analytics
- Automated report generation in markdown for Community Curator Analytics
- Make the Community Curator Analytics tool available to all users, not only to the SteemCurator03 -> SteemCurator09 account
- Turn SteemStats into a complete platform for all Steem metrics with charts, reports, and CSV exports
Try It Out
I'd love your feedback on how to make this even better. The more input I get from the community, the more useful I can make it.

Note: This tool is still in beta and isn't mobile-friendly yet. If you find any bugs, please let me know in the commentsn i will share the update for this tool

- Scroll to the bottom box (we're growing toward Top 100!)
- Type "kafio.wit" and click Vote
I confess I was interested in the post.
But I see that only SCs can be analyzed.
Is it possible to analyze other curator accounts, for example @realrobinhood, @statsexpert @supportive, and others?
And in my particular case, I curate daily for @tipu, Seven Steem, the #artonsteemit tag, and two other communities?
Can we expect future updates?

Yes, just step by step. Also, for the other account, it will include additional metrics and stats. I just wanted to share with you where I arrived, the platform will be able to provide more stats and metrics for all accounts.
