The Diary Game [31/03/2025] Celebrating feast of Ramadan with my fellow Muslim neighbour.
Hello @everyone accept warm greetings from this end of globe, to be precise northwest west region of Cameroon . Once again happy feast of Ramadan to all my fellow Muslims on this Steemit platform. Today 31/03/2025 is declared as feat of Ramadan in Cameroon and world wide by the Muslims .
Today Monday is normal ghost town day in our location .Every Mondays had been declared as ghost town by the separatist fighters due Anglophone problem,Which has been for 8years now . No one dares to open a shop or bikes and cars moving .Everywhere is locked and people are expected to stay indoors .Anyone that goes against the rule will be seriously haunt by the separatist fighters .Muslim in my neighborhood had to trekked and prayed any of the nearby mosques.
Early in the morning at 5:30am I was up from bed .I usually used my Mondays to keep things clean in my house and laundry .I decided to prepare food in early morning hours for family for the day .After, I did serious laundry my kids and husband dresses were very dirty. I took about 3hours to be done with laundry . I rested for some time be cause I was extremely tired .
Around 5:00pm,I had to visit my next door neighbour who is a Muslim we live in the same building apartments together . During Christmas day she always spent her time with me in my place. I take initiative to visit her let celebrate the feast of Ramadan together .They are always many people who come around to visit her and the husband.While at my Muslims neighbour house .I was really welcomed and entertained.She told the varieties of foods she has prepared but I choosed to eat Fried plantain with Ndole .
After, I have given my choose on what I want to eat she insisted that I should make myself comfortable .Go to her gas kitchen and serve my food . I told her to served me, she brought food and gave me . Vampur malt juice was given to me as well to drink . When I was done eating my Neigbour still brought me chewable to eat while drinking .
That is doughnuts with fried chicken.My stomach was already full as ate Ndole .I had to take time a lot of to eat these chewable while the food in my stomach digest well.It was a ghost town Monday but people were still moving enjoying the feast of Ramadan.That how people were entering in my Neigbour house no one could believe is ghost town day .
I stayed for sometime with my Muslim neighbor and we celebrated feast of Ramadan together . It was really nice evening as we discussed while the day is passing on well . At one point I was already tired ,I have eaten and there is no way I can talk again . I what was in my mind at the moment is go to my house sleep.
At 7:00pm, I left from my Muslims neighbor apartments to house . While in the house my kids showed me foods and drinks my Muslim neighbor brought for us .I was not even aware of it when I was her .We were all full and I had to keep the foods in the fridge to be eaten the next day .
At this point I called it a day by going to bed .My day was really a good one and enjoyable as I celebrated the feast of Ramadan with my fellow Muslim neighbor.What a great day , once more happy feast of Ramadan to all the Muslims on this Steemit platform.
