The Diary Game [30/05/2025]Resting day at home.

Hello friends and family members on this amazing ecosystem.Accept warm greetings from this end of globe .Ihave been so busy and committed with a lot of activities this week .I decided to have a rest at home for today to regain my health back.Am on medication and the doctor made mentioned I should make sure I take enough rest for myself.

We as African mothers despite,creating time at home to rest, one still find herself doing ane thing or the other at home. Courage to all the mothers because no matter the health challenges.Your family will still strongly depend on mummy 🤣 to provide food for the house .My sister’s traditional wedding is coming up tomorrow.

I had to make sure I loosen my old hair and look good tomorrow.It didn’t take me up to 3hours and I was done loosing plaited raster I did last month for my hair .Atleast I need to look good for the day.Planning to make a small bakala on my hair.I was seating infront of my balcony .My next door neighbour came to and gave me huckleberry and fufu corn eat

After,I already programmed to prepare food for the nextday today for the next.I had all the ingredients to prepare my tomato sauce to be eaten with ripe plantains .I started by preparing my spices like Garlic,onions , green spices,Njansa,Maggi ,salt ,bush meat etc.After, I removed tomato from the fridge and blended it .I decided to put inside a clean pot place it on the Gascooker to boiled it well.

Tomato sauce to prepare is not complicated .In an 1 hour time I was done preparing tomato sauce.I bold ripe plantain to be eaten with soup.Everyone inthe house was ready to eat well.Tomato sauce is one of my husband favourite.Eaten with boiled plantainetc and apart from any other thing .

During the evening hours , my kids were ready to take their dinner .My husband was back from work,I heated served them with dinner.I equally dished my own share of the food and ate.

My husband and I chatted for a while .I couldn’t force to stay for long.I had to sleep early not to missed my going for my sisters traditional wedding early as scheduled .We had nothing to do because everything was already contracted and paid for various specialised people . Render their services.

My day was a great one spent at home .Atleast I had enough rest at home for myself.Wishing you all happy weekend from my end .
