The Diary Game [29/05/2025]A rainy day, and unsuccessful appointment with my supervisor.

Hello @everyone accept special greetings from me to you all on this amazing platform.Now is rainy season in my location and there are days that rain will just stop while some days it can be rainy the day whole day .Today was a rainy day in my location exactly at 6:00am in the morning the weather changed and it’s started raining cats and dogs.

I had an appointment with my supervisor to meet for my master thesis for some discussion.The pressure on me with my supervisor is not easy. I decided to some house chores while it was still raining in the morning period .No more preparing my kids for school because it’s holidays.

When I was done keeping things clean in the house and arranging it in order. I decided to prepare food for the day before leaving the house. I had an appointment with my supervisor in school,Eventhough, today is Ascension Thursdays it’s normally a public holidays in my country .But some lecturers still organise classes on this day .My appointment with my supervisor was exactly at 12:00pm at the university campus.

When I was done prepared I left the house to the roadside to take cab to the university campus .It has stop raining but the weather climatic condition was very dull, cloudy and very cold. While leaving the house I was afraid it might start raining again.

Later, I arrived the university campus and moved straight to supervisor office since he is the Head of department.I was shocked and disappointed when I saw his door locked .Immediately I called is apologised she had some emergency and had to leave the school earlier. He totally forgot we agreed meeting today for my thesis and had to prosponed for another day .He will get back to me soon.

I was stranded and disappointed alone .I had one of my classmates we meet in school.That was experiencing the same disappointment with her supervisor as she was not able to see him as they agreed .We left from school on our way to town decided to branch at mile4 a famous Achu restaurant to eat .My classmates and I went there and Achu is ready we ordered two plates of Achu .For the two of us and ate .I most say the Achu today was so nice .

I enjoyed everything on my plates, am not a fan of eating cooked food outside but this particular meal Achu .I mostly eat it in the restaurant because I hardly have time to prepare it at home .This because it meal that takes alot of time.When we were done eating my classmates and I separated .I took a taxi to my destination .I had to branched a nearby store and buy breakfast things for my family .

I discovered milk, overtine, chocolate and sugar is getting finish .I got everything I wanted from this store .I just discovered the store retailer prices is almost the same in the market .I was shocked because majority of this quarter stores will try to exploit and add much again in the initial price .

I arrived home and it was already inthe evening.My husband was back home today was public holiday and it was an off day at their jobsite.We have an going project and he went to supervised . We discussed about that atleast it is progressing positively but draining us financially. Later, I heated food and served my family with dinner .

My early evening hours ended me in bed .My day was not really a fufilled one on my side because finally I didnot see my supervisor.The day ended on my side prematurely with no achievement. Wishing everyone a nice weekend.
