The Diary Game [07/07/2025] lockdown day home.

Hello @everyone accept warm greetings from me to you all on this Steemit platform.Today is another new beginning of the week .In my location all Mondays are lockdown due to Anglophone problem in my country Cameroon hitting north west and southwest regions for 8years .Power tussle between the separatist fighters and the government of my country.

The population needs to obey lockdown for security reasons .Many people have lost their life’s because of the crisis. Shops , commercials business centers,offices , schools and street with no vehicles.Everywhere locked and people are indoors because of the Crisis and lockdown imposed by separatist fighters . Early in the morning at 6:00am , I was up from bed .I went straight to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for my family.

I take this day to do proper hygienic cleanup of things in my house. I made mentioned in my previous post we have just packed in, in our own home .Every day I have work because I try to arrange things in the house in it appropriate positions. After,I took a stop and did laundry .When I was done with laundry , I entered the kitchen to prepare food waterfufu and Eru .I had everything in the house to prepare the meal. I started by fixing waterleave and slicing it.

When I was done I removed kanda that skin cow I boiled the previous to prepare Eru with it today .The inside was not clean I had to use knife and clean the the inside of the kanda that is dirty .After, I sliced it with my desirable taste .

Next, I decided to prepare the meal at the fireside outside using fire wood .It was a good experience after a long time as I was always using but Gascooker or charcoal fire side to cook .Now I have my enough space I will start cooking using both the fire stone and the Gascooker .I put my clean pot on the fire ,washed my waterleave .

My ingredients cryfish ,Kanda , meat,maggi ,salt and redoil. I didn’t take much time to prepare the Eru soup .In less than 30 minutes my Eru soup was ready . One thing with is soup is that it does not take much time to be prepared.

Later, I had to prepare water fufu to be eaten with Eru soup . Water fufu need a quantity of water to be put inside to relax it and mixed it well .Inorder for it not to be hard when prepared .I took less than 1hour to be done with waterfufu .

My kids needed to freshen up ,I assisted them to take their bath and dress up. After I freshened up as well and I served food for my family and myself.Everyone was happy eating because we work through out the day and had to eat late.When we were already feeling hungry.

It was evening period and there was blackout in my neighborhood.My family and I sat in the palour discussing.I had to make puffcorn and share for us to eat while discussing . It was a sweet evening we’ll spend with my family .

Around 10:00pm, we went to bed and called it a day .Everyone ready to start a new day the next with various activities already planned. That how my lockdown day was spend at home .It was a busy one and am happy my program for the day was fufilled .Wishing everyone a happy new week.
