The Diary Game [05/06/2025]A meeting with my supervisor and shopping food items from the market.

Hello friends and family members on this this amazing Steemit platform,accept special greetings from this end of globe .We are experiencing rainy season in our location and it’s very cold . What we can do is only to protect ourselves , by putting something warm always . Today is another busy day for me to do one or two things .

Early inthe morning at 7:00am, I received a call from my supervisor to meet him in school today 11:00am. Few days back we had and appointment for my masters thesis but didn’t finally hold .My supervisor already made me to understand he will call me any of these day to come to school.

I already programmed to do shopping for house food today early in the morning as possible .Immediately my supervisor called I decided I will go to the market, afternoon period when am done with him in school. Exactly before 11:00am, I was prepared and left the house for school.

While sat the roadside to see a taxi is a problem was a problem. After, for some few minutes I got a taxi to take me to the university campus.while in school, I moved straight to my supervisor office. His office was locked but I saw students .Seated infront of the office .I was afraid maybe he is not around .I, immediately called his telephone number and he answered . Saying he is inthe office rounding with some office work .But I have to wait let him finish and called me.

I waited for about 1hour when he was done .He opened his office and started attending to us. When it was my turn he called for me to in .It was a fruitful day as I we discussed a lot about what I wrote for my thesis .My day ended with my supervisor having another appointment after 2weeks .I left from school took a taxi straight to the market.

I arrived the market and I was not happy with the condition of the market.Everywhere was very muddy and dirty I really starting asking what the council is really doing with budget .Allocated for fixing the market and for development.We really have a bad governance in my country everywhere.

I struggled to enter the market to buy food stuff.I started by buying onions and plantain.The price of plantain was quite expensive but negotiated with the vendor and bought it moderate.

After,I remembered there is no fruits in the house .I bought watermelon and pineapple.From there I bought, dry groundnuts for my soup and Ndole .I bought some quantity to keep at home.

Next, shopping was okra and small quantity of pepper .Am not a fan of pepper but they are some food I just need the flavour inside my food to eat.

I bought maggi and salt, when I was done .I move straight to the fowl line .I bought one healthy fowl to prepare our local traditional meal called “katikati “ from there I went to the fowl line for it to be clean.From there I took a taxi straight home .I arrived home around 5:00pm .

While, home I arranged the things I bought in the market at their proper places.I decided to roast my chicken at the charcoal fireplace after, spicing it .It in 1 hour was done roasting my chicken to be prepared our traditional meal katiti katiti the nextday.

It was already evening period, I was feeling very tired .i called it a day by going to bed .My day was a busy one and a fulfilled day .This is because everything programmed for the day went smoothly.Wishing everyone a happy weekend 🫶.
