The Diary Game: || 01 - 05 - 2025 || A Challenging Phone Purchase

Hi guys good evening to @everyone how are you doing today, I hope you are all good. I have got a nice a challenging daily activities encountered on Thursday. Stay tuned.

On Thursday, I woke up early and got my children ready for the day. After helping them with their morning routine. I tackled another task by washing some clothes by hand. With that done.

I prepared to head out with my friend @uyaiuyo, who needs my assistance in buying a new phone.

At 1:05 PM, we set out to visit a phone slot in the plaza Uyo. Before making a purchase, we decided to do some market research to compare prices. We visited a few slots, and luckily, we found one that offered a good phone at an affordable price.

@uyaiuyo was excited to make the purchase, and she paid for the phone using her ATM card via the POS machine.

However, our excitement was short-lived. After the payment was made, the salesperson informed us that the phone was no longer available at the price we paid.

We were shocked and frustrated, and we demanded that the cashier refund the money. The cashier called her boss and, after a brief conversation, asked Uyai Uyo to provide her account details, promising that the company would make a refund by the end of the day.

We were not pleased with this response. We had come to buy a phone, and now we were being told that the price had change and that we would have to wait for a refund. The situation became increasingly tense until the marketer intervened and pleaded with us to consider an alternative solution.

She suggested that we share loss, with us covering 60% of the differences and the store covering 40%. After some deliberation, we agreed to add 60% to the original payment, and finally, we were able to get the phone.

The entire ordeal took over three hours, but we were relieved to have the phone.

To celebrate, at 4:42 PM, we headed to drinking spot to grab some refreshments and bottles of drinks.

Once we got back home, I helped Uyai Uyo configure her new device. After a long day, I returned home at 7:15 pm, freshened up, and had dinner. Feeling somewhat exhausted but satisfied, I began creating content for my social media account "Steemit" reflecting on the day's event.
