The Dairy Game:(28-03-2025) //Attending a Funeral Service of Director//

I woke at the Early hour of 28th March and got of bed and get myself prepared to join my colleagues at work to proceed to burial venue.

The news of Ben's untimely passing on December 21, 2024, just four days shy of Christmas, sent shockwaves of grief through the lives of countless individuals whose paths he had touched. The outpouring of emotion was a testament to the profound impact of his life, friends, staff, and entrepreneurial spirit. Ben's home-going coinciding with the festive season, inevitably cast a pall of sorrow over the celebrations.

I attended the funeral service of our esteemed director of other investment of the corporation, Barr. Umoh Ben Udowa, FCA, and it was grand affair that drew many dignitaries, including top government officials and the governor of the state.

The ceremony began with Lying in state in the family compound, where Barr. Udowa's body lay in state. The atmosphere was sober with many mourners paying their respects to the departed director. The ceremony continued with a valedictory service at the high court of justice, Eket judiciary Division headquarters, where Barr. Udowa was honored for his contributions to the state.

The burial service was conducted by the the redeemed Christian church of God (RCCG) Region 49 headquarters, Treasure House, located at KM 3, Eket Oron Road, Eket, Akwa Ibom State. The Church was filled to capacity, with many dignitaries and officials in attendance.

The governor of Akwa Ibom state, pastor Umo Eno, was in attendance expressed his condolences to the family, describing Barr. Udowa's death as "a huge loss to the the state" other dignitaries, including top government officials and business leaders, also paid tribute to the departed director.

As the service came to a close, we made our way to the reception venue, where a sumptuous meal was served.

The reception was a celebration of Barr. Udowa's life, with many speakers sharing fond memories of his accomplishments and legacy.

As we ate and drank, we share stories and memories of Barr. Udowa's life and achievements.

It was a fitting tribute to a remarkable individual who had made significant contribution to the state and the business community.

I got back home at 8:09 pm, I freshened up and I slept off. That was how I spent my day.
