The Diarygame (7th October, 2025, A Busy Day as a Seamstress

Greetings guys from your favorite seamstress @Tenderwise. I'm excited to share with you a brief insight into how my day at work went. As a seamstress, every day is a new challenge, and yesterday was no exception.

Morning Routine

I got to my shop early in the morning, opened it up, and started preparing for the day's work. As I often do, I started off the day with a little prayer session, committing all of the day's activities into God's hands. I prayed for guidance, and wisdom as I worked on my projects. After my prayer, I started getting everything ready for the day's work.

One of my customers had ordered a dress, and she was coming to pick it up before sunset. I had already finished designing the dress, but I still needed to cut the material into proper sizes. This task is crucial because it determines the fit and look of the final product. I spent about 45 minutes to an hour cutting the material into desired sizes. For those who have a knowledge of how dresses are made, they can testify that cutting materials into pieces is arguably the most technical, hectic, and important part of sewing.

After I was done cutting the material, I proceeded with the sewing. I started sewing the dress by picking each part of the cut pieces and sewing them together to make a beautiful dress. As I worked, I couldn't help but think about how much I love my job. There's something satisfying about creating something beautiful from scratch. I believe you all knew it.

Afternoon activities/ having lunch

At some point, I became hungry and had to take a break for lunch. I had soaked garri mixed with milk and some groundnuts, which is one of my favorite lunch meals. It's filling and satisfying, and it gives me the energy to continue with my work. After lunch, I took a few minutes off to let the food settle properly in my stomach.

After my lunch break, I continued sewing the dress. I worked on it for about an hour plus, and then I felt like I needed another small break.

To keep myself entertained during the break, I had some tangerine oranges, which were delicious. The sweetness of the oranges was just what I needed to refresh my mind and body.

After the second break, I proceeded to finish off the dress. It was a bit of a hectic day, but I was determined to get it done. Finally, I finished the dress, and it looked beautiful. I was proud of the work I had done, and I knew my customer would be happy.
