The Diary Game 3: Wednesday 09, 2025. Setting up Starlink Internet

Felt like learning something new today when i got up from bed. So i continued with Ansible which is highly beneficial especially in IT automation, Devops, cloud computing or system administration.

But before then i had to do my usual morning routing which starts with meditation each time i get up from bed. I later switched on my laptop, logged into my Udemy account and continued learning automation with ansible. I studied for about 2hours, that's from 6am to 8am.

When i was done studying, i did some body exercise which included push-ups, stretching, yoga for about 20 to 30 minutes. I later went to the kitchen, washed all the dishes and finally made some breakfast for myself.

I had other plans for the day like installing and configuring starlink internet for someone contacted me and as go visit a friend of mine who put to birth about a month ago. I had to create time today to go visit her.

After my breakfast, i went to go and to the starlink installation and configuring for the person who contacted me. When i got there, i realized it wasn't a brand new starlink and i was worried provided the person who sold the starlink to my client didn't give them the login details.
Nevertheless, i unbox the starlink kit, and ensured that all components are included.(Starlink dis, gen 2 router, power supply and starlink cable)

Next i had to choose a location for the installation, such that the dish needs a clear view of the sky(no trees, buildings or obstructions). I used the Starlink App to check for obstruction.
After doing all the basic setup, and when i tried to access the starlink or even creating an account for my client, i realized the old account was still active and my client wasn't giving the login information for the old account.

I told her to link me up with the person who sold her the kit, but unfornately the person wasnt available. I had to wait again as she kept on trying to reach out to the person. After waiting for sometime, i had to go because i have been there for long. I disconnected the kit, put it back inside the cartoon it came inside as i had to come back the next day to complete the setup, provided the login details of the account is given.

Next i had to go visit my friend who had put to birth.

I spent about an hour with her, chatting as i carried the baby. Before going, i bought some baby diapers for her child. By 6pm i left and went home as i wanted to prepare and watch champions league. Barcalona was playing against dortmund. Deep down i wanted Dortmund to win Barca, but it was just a wish and Barcalona won dortmund 4 goals to nothing. I am hoping that in the retour leg, Dortmund will come back.
