The Diary Game: Seminar for Preachers Ended on Friday(16/5/2025)
Hello my dear friends of this dear community. Happy weekend from me to you. Let me thank you specially for always reading my posts. I'm grateful. Weekend is my favourite moment because it affords me an opportunity to have fun, relax and write. I was involved within the week. Stay with me let me brief you on how my activities for the weekend went.
Every year, my alma mater organises preachers seminar for all the preachers in Nigeria. This arrangement aims at availing ministers of God an opportunity to retrospect on their work, evaluate, refresh and then learn new ways of moving their ministries forward. I could not attend last year's own. I had planned that I won't miss this one. Preachers from all works of life gathered at my alma mater, Nigerian Christian Bible College, Abak in the South South Nigeria. I was so proud to be in attendance.
It was a three day programme. It started on Wednesday, 14th to Friday 16th May, 2025. It was on a working day. I had taken permission from my Director at work place earlier before the date. i attended just a day. That was on the last day(Friday). Some preachers from far places had stayed in the hotel. But I had decided that I will attend the programmer from home since my distance is not too far.
Early in the morning of the last day by 5am, I woke up to get prepared so that I get to the venue on time and also get a better seat. Each day was billed to start by 9am. After bath, I dressed up , took breakfast and then left home by 7am. I arrived the venue by few minutes to 10am. I was late because there was traffic jam on the road. When I got there, the programme had started already. I didn't see a seat in front so I sat at the back.
Dr. Uyai Joshua, a College Public Relation Offficer was the first speaker on the last day to give a welcome back speech. The attendance on the last day was very encouraging.

After this, two lecturers presented keynotes. Prof. Emmanuel Essien took the first lecture on Church Planting while Dr. Christopher Benz took the second keynote on The Strategy of Missionary Work. It was really educative a I
learnt a lot as a minister on that day.

By 2pm, there was a break for lunch. I bought a snack and a soft drink since I will eat at home when I get back. At exactly 3.30pm, another session started. This was a brainstorming session to interact on the two keynotes presented.

The last day came to an end by 5pm. I was extremely hungry and exhausted. I went back home. I got home by 6.30pm. I thought I would come home early so I could visit a friend who had promised to accompany me to my church on Sunday. This wasn't possible. I had to rest . I woke up by 8pm, took bath to refresh myself before my supper.
I went to bed and slept off after supper. That was how my Friday was. Thank God I didn't miss the programme. It was very interesting.
Thank you for stopping by and reading my post. Have a fun-filled weekend
