The Diary Game : Preparation for SS3 Sendforth Graduation in My School (28/7/2025)

Good to know that you're an active member of steemit. Hope you are doing well over there. I'm very much active here. I told you last week about our preparation to graduate different classes of students in our school. Last week was students' pictures. Yesterday, Monday, was for the staff. It wasn't a small thing o. I got busy with my staff from morning till 3pm trying to get their pictures for the graduation magazine. Stay with me, let me tell you how my Monday went.

I had to wake up very early by 5am so as catch up with the day's engagement. Immediately I woke up, I went straight to the bathroom to take bath. I came out to brush my mouth and then had a light breakfast. Our school is made up of three branches - Ekpenyong Schools, Secondary branch as well as the Utuk's Lane branch where the headquarters situates. So to coordinate the three branches for an engagement wasn't a child's play.

I left home by 6.30am to bring the photographer I used in snapping the students to the headquarters. Since I was in charge of magazine production, everything was on my shoulder.

When I arrived by 9am, the staff were already on ground. We started snapping. First, staff from the three campuses were snapped. I had told them to dress in suits so as to look colourful and cooperate. Many weren't present because we had finihed exams.

After all the staff from the three campuses had taken their pictures, it was time for separate ones from each of the branches. First, was the staff from the headquarters. Not many staff work there. A few that were available, took a shot.

This was followed by the Ekpenyong branch. They are not many as well but this branch is located in a municipal, closed to the seat of government. It is coordinated by the principal, Mr. Daniel.

Then was the turn for the secondary staff to take theirs. A number of teachers here are graduate. Some hold Masters degree. I was not left out of this picture. We were beautifully organized.

Mr. Seth Thompson is the principal of the secondary section while I am the Vice Principal in charge of academy. Seth is a nice man.

My closed colleagues were not left out of this. I took a shot of their images. Mr. Ifiok, Mr. Oliver and Aaron.

My afternoon engagements were mostly at work place. I didn't relent effort in making sure I deliver my own assignment because we have just four days to go. At a point I was very tired and had to look for a cold drink to refresh myself. At this time, it was already 3pm. We had to round off snapping here. It was hectic.

I came back home around 4.30pm. When I got home, I took a shower and then relaxed for an hour. When I got up by 6pm, I went to a Bible study in the church. I came back around 8pm. By 9pm, after listening to news over the radio, I slept.
