The Diary Game: Celebrating With Students from My School (28/5/2025)

It's your friend, @okokon. I write to inform you of how we treated our children on the Children's Day Celebration. It was another time to enjoy with the children. Come with me let me give you details.
Children's Day celebration in my country comes up on every 27th day of May of every year. This day is set aside by the government to celebrate children's potentials. Match Pass, dance, and games characterize this day. Across the country, school children assemble at the stadium to enjoy themselves.
Children in our school weren't able to attend the event in the studium because they were involved in the first phase of mock examination. So we had to schedule 28th May to celebrate them specially. So yesterday was for them. We were to take them to have a treat at Enjim Hotel and Suite event centre. I was selected by the school authority to accompany them.
When I got the information, a day before then, I had to plan how my day would look like. When I woke up, I said my prayers and then went to prepare a breakfast in the kitchen. That was 5.30am. I quickly prepared "oto mboro", a very rich in nutrient morning food with unriped banana as the main ingredient.
After the preparation of breakfast, I took bath and ate before I dressed up and left for school. I arrived school by 7.30 am. After devotion by 8.15, I went to classrooms as usual to teach in three different classes. By 1.20pm, I was through with teaching and had to wait for the students to get prepared for the outing.
In the afternoon by 2pm, the school bus arrived to take them. They were very excited to have been celebrated by the school. We only take selected pupils from primary and Junior Secondary students that the space in the bus could accommodate. I was with them. By 3pm, we arrived the arena. We were allowed entrance because we had already paid for the event.
When we got there, our children joined other children at the playground. They were entertained by the organisers, Boy O' Boy, a comedian for the children event. It was a beautiful sight to behold.
The children were treated with games and competition of different kinds-dance, quiz and others. I was not really involved but I stood at a place and watched them while taking pictures. I took a lot of pictures.
Though the event didn't end, we Left by 4.50pm so that we could return the pupils home on time. We arrived the school premises by 5.20pm and then sent information to the parents to come pick their wards.
I was tired as a result of stress from teaching and being with the children. I returned home by 6pm. When I got home, I undressed, went to the bathroom and refreshed myself. When I came out from bathroom, I took my dinner before relaxing.
In the evening by 6pm, I ironed my clothes that I would use the next day. After this, I went online to write on steemit before I went to bed to sleep.
That was how my yesterday with the children was. It was exciting and memorable. I thank God the children returned safely
