The Dairy Game: Wedding of my Colleague (12/4/2025)

Happy Sunday to all my steemian friends from Cameroon community. I hope you had a great time in God's presence today. I am great too here. Yesterday was a wonderful day for me. My friend was involved in wedding. The purpose of this post is to intimate you of my activities yesterday. Have a nice time reading my post.

Mrs. Edaramfon was my closed colleague in school before she left our school. Yesterday, Saturday, 12th April, was her wedding. When she invited me officially to her wedding, I was so excited for her that she has finally found her heart throb in marriage. I had planned to attend.

In the morning around 6am, I had woken up to take up my planned engagements. The wedding was planned to take place in the church by 10am. Assemblies of God Church doesn't delay in her services. Therefore, I had to speed up my domestic engagements so I could meet up on time in the wedding service.

Immediately I woke up, I went for jogging. The exercise lasted for about just forty minutes. I came back to wash plates and clean the floor since my wife has traveled. I took bath and then ate my breakfast. I left for the wedding by 12noon.

When I got there, my colleagues in school were already there. The service had started already. At first I felt ashamed of going late . I was led by the usher to a seat close to the front. It was great following what was
happening.chronologically.

By 2pm, the first part of the wedding had finished. The pastor who administered the exchange of marital vow, charged the couple to be of good behavior and allow love to rule their relationship. Immediately after the end of the first phase, photography was next. My colleagues and I took a picture with the couple.

The next part of the wedding was the reception. Reception followed immediately at the same venue. We were entertainef by the couple. Different food were served to the guests. Though I was hungry, I took just jelof rice and soft drink.

Most of my afternoon activities were at the wedding place. I was so happy to be part of the event. Edaramfon was a nice teacher when she was with us. She is very kind and dedicated to her duties.

I came back by 5pm. I was exhausted. I had to relax and sleep for an hour. When I woke up, I went to wash a football match between Arsenal and Brenfort. The match ended in a draw. I came back by 8pm to refresh myself, find something to eat and then relaxed with steemit till 9 pm. I went to bed and slept.

That was how my Saturday was. It was replete with colourful celebration and good times.
