Princewill my son

As I woke up to the warm rays of the sun peeking through my window, I knew today was going to be a special day. I had finally completed the tedious task of marking and recording scores for my class, and had even submitted the results to the head teacher yesterday.

With that weight lifted off my shoulders, I was looking forward to a relaxing day with my little bundle of joy, Princewill. After a quick cleaning and breakfast, Princewill and I settled into our favorite spot on the couch, surrounded by his toys. We spent the morning lounging around, watching cartoons, and playing games. I loved watching Princewill's face light up with excitement as he giggled at his favorite characters.

As the day wore on, I decided to use today and cook 2 different pots of soup and put in the refrigerator, (Afang and Editan soups) and then served myself and my kid the meal. He always stays around me even as I was busy cooking in the kitchen, eagerly stirring the pot and sprinkling cheese on top. The aroma of freshly cooked Afang soup filled the air, making our mouths water in anticipation.

We sat down to enjoy our meal together, savoring each bite and chatting about our day. Princewill, a two and a half years old boy is learning how to speak very fast. He told me all about his favourite toys and games, and I listened attentively, smiling at his infectious enthusiasm.

After lunch, we decided to take a break and relax some more. Princewill snuggled up close to me on the couch, and we watched a movie together. I loved feeling his tiny hand wrapped around mine, and his soft breathing as he drifted off to sleep.

As the day drew to a close, I realized that I had to start preparing for the second term closing ceremony at school tomorrow. I gently roused Princewill from his nap, and we spent the late afternoon tidying up the house. As I looked at Princewill, now busy playing with his toys, I felt a sense of contentment wash over me. Being a mother and a teacher can be challenging, but moments like these made it all worthwhile. I was grateful for this special day with my little prince, and I knew that tomorrow, I would return to school refreshed and ready to tackle whatever challenges lay ahead.

As bedtime approached, Princewill cuddled up close to me once more, and I fixed the mosquito treated net then whispered a prayer of thanksgiving for this precious gift of motherhood. Today may have been a day of relaxation, but it was also a reminder of the importance of balance in my life - between being a caring mother and a committed teacher.
