THE DIARY GAME||11/09/2025||READING A BOOK, CUTTING WATERLEAF AND OTHER ACTIVITIES

Greetings Steemians from your Nigerian Steemit girl @mayjay, I hope you all are doing fine. I'm here to share with you a few excerpts from my day. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the read!

I woke up to the calm sound of a drizzling rain. It had rained all through the early hours, and the weather was cold. I stayed in bed a little longer than usual; while in bed, I read a few chapters of a book titled RICH DAD POOR DAD by Robert T. Kiyosaki. At about 11am the rain reduced, and I stepped out to do a few chores around the house.

One of the main tasks for the day was to cut some waterleaf from the small garden close to the house. We initially had plans of selling the entire waterleaf bed to a buyer, but the price bargained by the buyer was not fair. So Mum asked me to help cut it so we could sell it at the main market. I picked up a basin and a knife and went straight to the garden. The waterleaf had grown so well because of the recent rains and the manure we applied. It was a bit wet because of the rain, but I managed to carefully cut them. After I was done, I headed back home. At this point, "tired" was an understatement.

I was extremely exhausted from cutting the waterleaf earlier, so I decided to rest. My body wasn't just satisfied with the rest, so I slept till it was late evening. When I woke up, my mom and siblings had already finished preparing dinner, and they had eaten. I had my own dinner of rice cooked with Banga sauce. After the dinner, I did a bit of writing and checked in on Steemit to update you all.
