Steem Cameroon Contest : Best Day of the Week ( 07th Mar - 13th April 2025 )

The day that still shines bright in my memory is the day I went for my exams, specifically my hundred level second semester exams. Unlike many of my peers, I started preparing from the very first day of lectures in that particular course. (Applied Linguistics) I diligently read, researched, and asked questions, ensuring I grasped every concept.

When exam day arrived, I felt confident. Before entering the exam hall, my friends and I would quiz each other. However, I answered all their questions and one of my friends said i should sit alone, what's the point of me looking for someone to depend on. I felt like he's was try to mock me,others started laughing, so I left them. I decided to sit alone instead. I was prepared but I I still wanted someone to depend on too.

As I sat down, I was determined to pass. The exam consisted of fifteen questions, and I answered every one to the best of my ability. Despite being approached by classmates who needed help, I assisted them while also ensuring I didn't compromise my own performance. One friend who had mocked me earlier was caught " giraffing" ( trying to see another student's paper) and was moved to sit near me, but it was too late for her, the person she was depending on wasn't willing to help her then.

After completing the exam, I felt a sense of accomplishment. Reflecting on the experience, I realized that my hard work and preparation had paid off. It was a defining moment that taught me the value of dedication and self reliance .

This day remains memorable to me, not just because of the exam itself but because of the confidence and sense of achievement I felt afterwards. It showed me that with thorough preparation and a clear mindset, I can excel in challenging situations.

It's my best day is memorable because it showcase your hard work and dedication paying off.
