Invitation Card Design: My Support to Emediong for her upcoming graduation ceremony.

I was in my office attending to my printing work when my neighbor's daughter, Emediong came in with a smiling face. Emediong was apprentice on fashion designing. Her purpose of coming was to invite me of her Send forth (Graduation) which is coming up in few weeks.

As she left my office, I thought of the kind of supports I should give. As a graphic designer, I decided to start my support by printing an invitation on envelope for her. This would make her invitation more valuable and also serve as a reminder to her invitees.

As I sat at my desk, staring at the cartons of envelopes in my showcase, I couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement and pride. My dear neighbor's daughter, Emediong, will finally be graduating from fashion designing school, and my first support was to surprise her with designing and printing her invitation cards.

I began by brainstorming ideas, thinking about Emediong's personality, style, and accomplishments. I wanted the invitation to be printed on envelope and also reflect her passion for fashion, her African heritage, and her joyous spirit. After some deliberation, I decided on a design concept that would incorporate traditional African print fabric patterns, elegant typography, and a touch of modern sophistication.

I started by selecting a vibrant African print fabric design and some sewing materials as the display pictures for the invitation card. The bold colours and intricate patterns seemed to dance across the design, capturing the essence of Emediong's lively personality.

Next, I added a beautiful image with a hanging measuring tape, with a sewing machine in the background. The image seemed to radiate pride, joy, and a sense of accomplishment in connotation to her work.

The text on the invitation card was simple yet elegant, with a clear font that read: "Sendforth! Sendforth!! Sendforth!!!, Sis. Emediong Akan Thomas kindly invite you to her Graduation Ceremony". I included Date, Time, Venue, her Boss' name and her contact number for enquiries.

As I finalized the design, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and satisfaction. The invitation card was a true reflection of Emediong's style, passion, and achievement.

I started printing, and a few hours later, I was done with a beautifully printed invitation cards. The colors were vibrant, the envelope was high-quality, and the overall finish was impeccable. I knew that Emediong would be thrilled with the invitation cards, and I couldn't wait to see the look of joy on her face when I present the surprise gift to her. I feel the sense of relief as I had done justice to my conscience.

The invitation cards were a hit, and soon, Emediong's friends and family were RSVPing to attend her graduation ceremony. It will going to be a celebration to remember, and I am honoured to have played a small part in supporting her.
