DIARY GAME ( 3RD MAY, 2025)

Good evening, Steem Mates.

Today wasn't a very long day but I was just at home doing nothing until 12 noon. I was struggling to write inside the hot weather in Uyo, Nigeria.

It rained last night and my house even got soaked with water. I was able to take care of it. It was as a result of me leaving home without shutting my windows. What I was bothered about this morning is how it rained last night and it was still very hot this morning. It felt like there had been no rain for ages.

I decided to go see a friend and we had a chat about life. It was 12pm when I got there and at that time, I haven't had breakfast. She said it was the same thing for her and she dashed out to go get us bread. The bread was very tasty and that was all I had for brunch.

I proceeded to write while she was on her phone working too. We talked more about the light issues Nigerians face. It's really not easy but we keep striving. We definitely aren't gonna give up.

I was there until 3pm and the light got restored. I went home and charged my gadgets, took a cold bath and had a rest.

I was awoken by the sound of rain. It was raining again. I was happy, for real. I knew the night was going to be awesome.

It rained and rained and I remembered that I didn't visit the market to buy what I was supposed to eat for dinner. I thought the rain was going to stop at around 7pm so that I could still visit the market but it didn't.

I just knew that I was gonna be eating junk tonight again. It was the same thing for me yesterday. I had to go to bed due to the fact that I couldn't visit the market.

Looks like a routine.

The rain stopped around 9pm and there was no way I was going to get food at that time. So, junks it is.

Tomorrow, I'll do better.
