The Diary Game Season 3 [ Sunday April 06th, 2025 ]

Greetings Steemit friends

It is another Sunday, and while others are preparing to go to church, I usually go for my Sunday morning sport. It is a Sunday ritual for me and most of the men in my community. Some will go to church very early before joining the rest of us at the playing ground.

I woke up from bed and decided to do some home chores before going out. I will have put together the training materials and balls. Last week I was not around, so my colleague was the person carrying the training kits to the playing ground. I was done with my home chores and arranging the training kits. I had something to eat and left for the playground.

After dressing, I put on my shoes. I started by going around the playing field five times. We did a general warm-up session, where we had to do small collective exercises to prepare for the game later. The instructor tries to give exercisers that they can decide to return home without playing the game later.

The game started, and we played for two hours, one hour each for each half of the game. It is always challenging for some older members. It is flexible, where you can play one half and go home. So, I will always try to play all two hours in order to work out myself.

After the game, it is a tradition that we sit and talk about the game. Most of the time when chatting, others are drinking. I had another meeting later, so I could not wait until after the game. I went straight home. On getting home, I was so hungry. In the kitchen was fried plantain.

I did not waste any time, but jumped on it and started eating. After I rush to take my bath, to prepare for the next meeting across town. By the time I was done, it was raining. I had plans to use a bike for security reasons. The situation of the town has limited the areas you can go to with a car. I made some calls and took permission why I will not be able to make it and send my social contributions via Momo.

Since I will not be going out. I decided to watch the games for the day starting with Fulham versus Liverpool. It was so interesting for me as I watched Liverpool lose points after a long while in the Premier League. The game ended with Liverpool's unbeaten strip coming to an end. It was a good result but not very good because Arsenal did not get all three points the previous day.

I watched the last English League match of the day (Man United against Man City), which ended in a draw. I finalized the day with the French League game (Marseille FC against Toulouse FC). It was a nice game, and Marseille FC wanted to prove a point to their home supporters.

After the game, I logged on to steemit. I carried the curation with the community curating account and ended my day by going to bed.
