Greetings Steemit friends

What a day, when you have mixed feelings about a coming match later in the day. We are in the second leg of the quarter-final game of the Champions League. From the previous quarter-final games, I was scared about Arsenal's coming game against Real Madrid later in the evening.

There have been a lot of mind games from the Real Madrid fans and team management on social media. But taking to social media is not a way to win. I don’t know why Real Madrid hasn't learned that social media has been misleading. It's not the road they should have taken. Yes, Real Madrid is a big team in the history of the Champions League, and they are playing at home.

Real Madrid has a history of comebacks in the past, but we did not take the mind games they were trying to play. Today will be a memorable day if Arsenal wins the game later in the day and qualifies for the semi-final. With all the thoughts in my head about how the other games had a number of goals, I was scared about the Arsenal game later in the evening. Other teams could score three goals, so we needed to be careful. Real Madrid needed four goals to kick Arsenal out of the Champions League.

I got up late, prepared, and got to the office late. I met others outside because my colleague who had the key was late too. I opened the door and apologized for coming late. I cleaned and helped dust the tables before taking my seat. I had a long to-do list and started by getting in touch with the clients I had sent hosting renewal emails to. Sometimes, I have to make direct calls to get their attention.

Next was a political web project for my client in Europe. They needed some retouching to their design, and they’re not very good with design. The drawback was that I had no available designer to assign the task to. So, I took it upon myself to work on the design and added the translated content to the website. I was feeling like eating something, and one of my junior colleagues got me local popcorn.

It took me a long time to achieve the expected design, and I had a challenge working on the responsiveness of the website. I was done and moved to the next task on my to-do list. It was closing time, so I stopped what I was working on and hurried home. I was going home to watch the match of the day, Real Madrid vs. Arsenal, in Spain.

I had my dinner and took my seat to wait for the match of the day. I had tried to be calm all day as an Arsenal fan. Soon, it would be the moment we write history again to win and knock Real Madrid out of the Champions League. The game started, and the first half was all Real Madrid. They were all over the field. Real Madrid put a lot of energy into the first half, and Arsenal missed a penalty. I knew it wouldn’t be easy for us in the second half. It was a match full of tension, especially for the Real Madrid fans. Playing on Real Madrid’s ground has never been easy for any team in Europe.

Arsenal was able to score and ended up winning the game 2 goals to 1 for Real Madrid. Their only goal came from a moment of defensive laziness. It was a great game for Arsenal fans and a time to humble the fifteen-time Champions League holders. After the game, I logged in to my Steemit account and shared my feelings both before and after the match.

Cheers

Sure, I’ll be dropping my next post in the hours ahead.
How are you doing? It’s been a while!

I'm the number one fan of the Arsenal club, and this team has gone through a lot in Europe as a whole, both domestically and outside England. So far, it looks like Arsenal may not be able to win the Premier League this season, and the only title we have left to fight for is the Champions League.

But then again, do you watch football? Especially the European Champions League?
Let me not bore you too much with my feelings about scores and my favorite team in Europe 😅

Upvoted! Thank you for supporting witness @jswit.
