The Diary Game: My Weekend Schedule Of Activities||15/08/2025||

Weekend greetings to you all my steemians on the steemit platform,it a happy weekend am happy to share with you my schedule of activities.

Friday morning was too much for me with a lot of loads,so I decided to schedule them section by section, that is in the morning, afternoon and evening as the case may be, so in the morning by 8 O'clock AM,I was in the barbing salon to barb my hair, it was 30 minutes time of activity at the first place the barber asked me the style I like to take,so I replied him to be normal low cut. He started cutting my hair and air started entering my head. That was a good healthy care I gave to myself ,I was so greatful to myself because when I see people having much hair and they don't barb it,I will say wawoo, because my owner will be giving me headache, until i cut it down.

After barbing I paid the guy his money in Naira and left, but if he has Steem account,I would have liked to paid him in Steem dollar.

Coming back home from the salon,I took my bath and cleaned up my self, applied a little hair cream and brushed my hair and I feel so great and feeling the passing of fresh air.

In the afternoon,I didn't go to anywhere because it was a cultural day in community am leaving,so people didn't go to any where, some shpps were partially open and some economic activities were not fully operated ,people waiting for the time the Ekpo Masquerade will come out,it a kind of culture that men,women and children are allowed to watch if they have the miracle of doing so.

So that after,I was sitting outside having funs with children in the compound that also wanted to see the Ekpo Masquerade, how they look like,the way they play it,we know that children are on vacation,so they are looking for one game or the other to engage themselves. They were having funs with me,i took them Photos and also buy one fruit that people always like to eat in my village and this is it season, this fruit is known as "Ndiya" in my Ibibio speaking language, and in English language is known as " Yellow Monkey Kola", so i bought it for them and inate my own.

After that moment,it was 3 pm and rhe whole village was so noisy as villagers were running up and down shouting arrivals of masquerade,so everyone were not in their normal mood,shop sellers closed their shop to avoid unforseen circumstances.
So the children ran to their parents, standing a far to view the masquerade.
I was a little bit closer and the culture was a unique one as every one were dancing,men with their long knife cutting across their shoulders.

After having this wonderful experience and viewing of hundreds of people that were dancing,it was really a serious happening in my neighborhood.
Truly culture is the way of life of the people, nothing body should stop people culture, I think so.

After having a lot of time feeding my eyes with funs,the time comes for hunger, and there was nothing to eat,so I make a shot list to buy things in the market and cook before night comes. What I went to buy were as follows:

• Okro
• Cow skin
• Periwinkle
• Stock fish
|• Crayfish
• Pepper

After that I was doing the presentation of cooking my dinner,the first thing was garri making and follow by the soup by 6 O'clock pm,it was late a bit because of the time I used to watch the masquerade. Finally,I cooked my dinner and saved my self a plate.

I finally ate my dinner by 8 O'clock pm and later bath, write my diary game of the past day on steemit platform before I go to bed .
