"Steem Cameroon Best Day Contest -19/06/2025"

Contest greetings to you all my fellow contestants,it gladden my heart when I see a contest title like this,the best day,it gladden my heart as I said before because everyone had one day in a week that he or she is being happy and that day becomes a best day to that person.
So my own was a booming harvest day in the village, which was on the 19/06/2025.

Thursday was rhe 19th day of June 2025 ,I was in my village to carry out some preservation activities,I started it with corn preservation,the season has come for this purpose and people do theirs and as I went to my own farm,the whole corn farm was dry off and nothing has tempered with it,so I was so happy to see all my corn intact in the farm,so I started cutting it for preservation,I was so happy that I harvest 3 100kg bags and I stacked up the bags and carry them to the house and started joining the in two to make it easier for hanging.

This method is commonly used in the village and only aged people can do this,so I was doing my own the same way due to the idea I had from my late mother,who was a farmer, and she was into Corn or maize farming,she taught us how to farm and preserve it for Next Season to avoid damage by pests like weevils.
So the process of doing this is that during cooking, the fire flames will be touching it and making the corn not to be damaged.

Another best moment in that day was that I had a nice palm fruit harvest, which i was not sure of such good number of bunches because of the rainy season that started, this heavy rain do affect the palm fruit,so it can't produce well as in dry season. So as I went there with the person,we started harvesting,i was not expecting much of it, but after the whole harvest,I recorded a good number of it and i was so happy

I was also thinking of how to park the to the house but one spirit of mine give me hint that I should park all of it in the farm and cover,so doing this has cut off the transportation process from the farm to the house,I really happy,the way I park them and cover to avoid raining water to touch it was amazing

After doing all of these,I was greatly excited and I call it a day.

The reason why it was by best day was that: • The beam hut I make has make me to hang all the dry corns •No pests have damage the corns at the farm land. • The palm fruit harvesting was encouraging with good numbers of bunches. • I served the money I used to spend on transportation by covering the palm fruit in the farm.
