"Steem Cameroon Best day Contest - 1st June 2025"

Sunday, 1st June 2025, was really a very special day for me. Its a day that was filled with joy, laughter, and real togetherness with my lovely Christian brothers and sisters. We had a small get-together party at MMI Houston Hotel, and everything about that day was just great and perfect.

The excitement I had started very early. I had been looking forward to this gathering for weeks now, so waking up that morning, I was already in a happy and good mood. The whole day felt different for me,it was like a celebration to me even before the event started. However By 4:00 pm, we arrived at the event center. People were already coming in, smiling, greeting each other, shaking hands, hugging, and just showing true love. Everywhere you will turned, there was happiness. Seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones made the moment even more special to everyone.

At 4:30 pm, the event started properly with a song and prayer. The hall was silent except for our voices, singing together in praise to Jehovah our God. After the prayer, the chairman of the gathering gave a speech. He talked about why we came together which was,to celebrate unity, love, and friendship among us as a family. His words were simple, but they touched everyone heart. It reminded us that gatherings like this are very important because they strengthen the bond we share as Christian family.

After that, different programs were followed. The younger children were invited to recite Bible verses they had memorized. One by one, they came out, speaking boldly, without fear. Some even sang songs, their voices sweet and clear. It was so great and amazing to see how talented they were. Then, there was drama,a short play that made everyone laugh. The actors on it did very well, making sure the hall was full of joy.

However I must say that,One of the funniest moments of the event was the dance moment for the older people. When the r dancing time came, all they old Christian brothers and sisters in the hall stood up in one row walking slowly to the front, and when the music started playing, they all began dancing in all the energy they have in them. Seeing them shake their bodies, and enjoy themselves made them also laugh and everybody joined them in laughing so loud. Can you imagine that Some of them danced so seriously, forgetting their old age and body, while others just maintain shaking their waist in ways that made the whole hall shout out with laugh.

After all the fun and enjoyment, it was time for eating food well Cooked and prepared. Plates of jollof rice with fried chicken were served, alongside cold soft drinks. The smell of the food was sweet, and everyone was eager to eat. As we enjoyed the meal, slow and beautiful music played in the background. It was a peaceful and relaxing moment. People sat together, chatting, laughing, and enjoying the food while the music kept the mood soft and nice.

Finally,to bring and end to the enjoyment gathering, we sang another song and prayed, thanking God for bringing a success to the event we all been waiting for. After that we greeted each other, shook hands, and wished each other safe journey. Some people at that moment took pictures to keep the memories safe and alive before living to their various homes.

Why it's My best day!?..

In all I must really say that this was my best day of the week because it was really filled with joy, love, and togetherness. The greetings,I received, laughter, music, food, and prayer made the whole experience so special to me. And Seeing the elders dance, the children recite Bible verses on their head, and everyone Enjoying the moment reminded me of how beautiful Christian family is. It was a day of happiness, where I felt deeply connected and blessed althorough.
