The Diary Game: Working Full Shift (03-10-2025)

I went to work this morning with hungry stomach, not that there wasn't food at home, but I couldn't eat it because of the fact that I was late and eating will actually take much of my time, so I took riped plantain I cooked with sauce to work.

When I got to work, I opened the shop and everyone came in then I swept and made sure everywhere was clean before I took my food and began to eat as customers weren't coming much and the workload was reduced. This food was inspired by my neighbor who likes cooking it and seeing yesterday night that my plantain had ripened, I used it to prepare the food.

My boss saw from the CCTV camera that I was eating at work, so he asked why I wasn't using anything to wash it down, I told him I don't have money, so he sent me some money to buy soft drink, so I went to the nearby store and bought mineral drink then came back and flush the food down with a bottle of drink.

After eating, I continued my work from where I stopped, I helped Emilia my colleague so that she can eat also because she took her food to work. After she finished, I returned to my post and shelved the drugs that weren't there.

Remember, today, I told you I will be doing a full day shift because I was standing in for someone that stood in all day for me. I am praying her mother gets healed from all sickness because I know what it felt like to see someone's mother being sick and dying right in your arms because my mom died right in my arms.

I worked and I got tired, so I took a little rest and began again. When I saw that my son's school had dismissed, I called my hubby to know if she had gone to pick our son and he told me he did that, my mind was calmed and I continued with what I was doing. I worked a little and I went out to see the sun before coming inside to continue.

In the evening, we closed the store and then I came back home but before coming back home, I branched my in-law's house and stayed there. They offered me food and I ate. I told my hubby that I won't be coming back in the next 1 hour because I was at his dad's place and he said okay and I told him what to do incase I come back home late.

When I finally came back home, I took my bath and then I watched my son try moulding something from the earth. It was really fun and I know he was taught in school. I also helped him.

When he finished moulding it, I took them to a safe place and dried them so that he can take it to school on Monday. Then I made dinner for everyone. My hubby ate with me and then I finally had my rest from a stressful day.
