The Diary game: How I spent my Saturday (22/3/2025)

Greetings, dear steemians of Steem Cameroon, how are you all doing? I hope everyone is fine. We thank God for the gift of life because when there is life, there is hope. I want to talk about his I spent my Saturday. I hope you spent yours well. Weekends are always days workers take time to tidy up the homes.

I woke up as early as 6am because I needed to be in my church to cleanup the church since I'm in the sanitation department. So I got to church early and stacked the chairs before sweeping and mopping the floor. I finished at about 8am, then headed to the supermarket to get one or two things. I got home and started doing some sweeping of the floor and washing of clothes. Saturdays is the only free day for me to wash and clean since I'm always in a hurry from Monday to Friday. I finished the cleaning abd decided to start making breakfast since there was no food. I cooked beans and also boiled potatoes to go with the beans. I finished by 12pm and I had to eat. After eating,I had to rest a little. I spent my time surfing the net and I came across this Uyo blogger who was once in my faculty in school. People expected his wedding whenever that would be will be a loud one but he surprised many people by doing a quiet wedding with only few people invited. The pictures were everywhere and I spent time going through it. I also took a little nap.

I woke up to see a heavy rain and decided to use that time to prepare for evening meal.

I had only prepared the ingredients for the okra soup so as to be ready for cooking but I decided to cook it in the evening. Okra soup is one of the simplest soups to cook, so it didn't take me time, I was through.

Dinner is ready

After I had eaten, I was bored since there was no light, I decided to complete a novel I had been reading titled 'The Villa' by Nora Roberts. Then when I was sleepy, I had to sleep knowing that I had to wake up early for church the next day.
