INTRODUCTION

Hello steemites, happy weekend to you all, trust you are having a good day. I am here to share how my Yesterday was spent. Yesterday was one of the happiest day of my life, I had a long chat with a lot of persons at the office and I saw myself talking about topics I never knew I could talk about.

I was even encouraging some new staff at the company and I found joy doing it.

Later same day I went to dry one of the office seats that got infested with bugs, since I heard high heat and temperature kills bugs, I have always opted for it.

This is how dirty the chair was and dusty too. I decided to do this so it doesn't spread to other offices or to my clothes since this is my work environment. I used another seat to work till this insects were sorted out.

This is what bugs looks like. They are harmless insects that lives on foams or foamy items like
beds, mattresses, chairs etc and causes discomfort as you sleep. They are majorly active at night and very calm during the day. They don't survive for the next 48hrs when removed from foams and can be killed with hot liquids or sprays, including a high temperature environment. They don't cause any harm to human except a red itchy patch when they bite u.

But along the line a colleague suggested we wash the chair instead and that the detergent will get rid of it faster. Here is the picture of the process

Here is when me and my colleague were on our way to go and wash the seat. And i was snapping him from behind. My place of work is a big company and this is is just the entrance to an extension of it

This was the materials I was able to get for the Washing process because the seat has been in this company for almost 10years+ and I was told it's the first seat the CEO used in his office before handing it over to the secretary and got a new one

This was when we were fetching water for the Washing process. It's really going to be fun and an exciting process seeing it's the seat i use in my office and i will be the first person to enjoy it. Smiles...

Everything is set can u see? We had to collect an extra white paint bucket from one of the staff at the gen house just for convenience and it was quite a smooth ride 😁

Holla... First baptism of the chair by water, I have never done this before, I mean washing a full office chair with foam inside, tell me if you have.

My male colleague was really helpful yesterday, he suggested the washing process and he was there to make sure everything went well from beginning to end. I felt so Relief and happy seeing a guy being so dutiful with domestic tasks.

And this was me, your Humble home girl and wife material, doing what she knows how to do best. I made sure to assist when he was tired too. It was a shared responsibility and why not? I did most of the tasks of course. We left the seat at the gen house to dry by heat and we went to pick it up today being Saturday. It looks very neat, comfortable and bug free.
