Hello steemites, Happy New Month and Welcome to July the second half of the year 2025. So this was how I ended the month of June. I made Abacha and beans which is locally consumed by the eastern side of Enugu state Nigeria. Normally they use black beans to cook it but i decided to use normal iron beans because when the desired is not available, the available becomes the desired. I actually enjoyed this food yesterday and It was worth it

This is my washed Abacha, it is dried when bought so you soak in hot water to make it soft. Abacha is processed from cassava which is peeled, washed, boiled, grated and dried. It is commonly consumed by the Igbos which is the eastern part of Nigeria.
