The diary game (6/4/25)// A blessed Sunday
Hello great people of STEEMIT. How are you doing, I bring you greetings from my motherland Nigeria and welcome to my daily lifestyle blog as I share with you how I spent my Sunday.
Woke up very early at 5am to start preparing for the Sunday services, as church workers, my husband and I do attend both first and second services for 7am and 9am. Having to prepare toddlers and a baby that early is always stressful as they may delay you but we keep going .
We arrived church at 6:40am, took the kids to their classes and went to my duty post at the entrance to welcome worshippers into the auditorium. Oh today's praise session was so amazing and I danced like a child and felt happy.
After the first service, I had to go pick my baby to breastfeed him and he stayed with me till the end of the second service and we got home 11:40am. We were all famished so I went straight to the kitchen to boil some rice since I had a pot of tomato stew I made previous day. And I served lunch.
We all ate and rested, I was expecting the kids to sleep as usual so I can also sleep but today they refused and kept playing and disturbing me. I had to be awake as well, so I watched a movie on Netflix till evening hours and we all had a short nap.
At about 7:30pm I went to the kitchen to fry some Irish potatoes to add to the remaining rice and served for dinner.
After eating, I did the dishes and cleaned up the kitchen, bath and baby and put him to sleep while my husband helped bath the toddlers and put to sleep as well. I was already too tired since I didn't have a quality siesta . After taking a cool shower and prepared for sleep I took my phone to write my diary and boom I slept off at about 9pm.
I woke up to breastfeed at 2am and this was when I carried my phone to write how I spent my Sunday. And went back to sleep.
Till my next blog on my diary lifestyle, bye for now
