"Steem Cameroon Best day Contest - 24th June 2026 "

I am excited to have a platform to share my best day of the week, which was 15th June 2025. The happening of this day was a meeting that was planned to be held before then, but due to some circumstances, it was not held. So the 15th of June was a feasible date that was convenient for this visit.

My sister inlaw got a new place for her business, we have been speaking on the phone and she tells me how far she has set up the place and wanted me to come and see. I was out of town the time we talked on the phone about it, and I promised to come see it when I come back.

So on the 15th, I visited and was happy with what I saw. The set-up was good, and again, I saw growth in all areas of her business. I remembered when this business started, then she was out of her job and stayed for some time to get another job but she did not get any.

She began venturing into different businesses that did not work out for her; she lost lots of money during this trial of different businesses. Until she started making chinchin at her house, she would make it and package it in plastic containers and carry it with her wherever she goes and does her marketing.

She continued as usual, venturing into other past business. It was not easy then, as she was still trying to get a face in the market, but she did not relent. She kept pushing, and the business began to grow, to the point that she had distributors in other states. These distributors buy in higher quantities to resell in their various states. She gives them a discount, unlike her direct retail buyers.

As the business grew, it kept improving in all areas, the texture, quality and packaging of her product. And she stopped using her house for her business and got a place where she does it, although it's not a big place. This business of hers attracted buyers even abroad.

So she has decided to move to a bigger and standard place for her business that befits this business of hers. Making her business classy and more hygienic with different spaces for each process of her production.

Why is it your Best Day of that Week

That day was my best day of the week because I was so happy for her and impressed with her growth, knowing how her journey began and how far she has gone. Her resilience is an encouragement to anyone giving up in trying.

Despite all the failures she encountered, she did not stop, she kept on trying until she stumbled into this business, paying her, and she is doing well at it. So that day was filled with laughter, talks of how it all started everyone was happy. And I know she will grow more.
