The Diary Game [29/06/2025] // Sunday Service titled “Covenant day of Exemption”
Steem greetings guys from the motherland, Cameroon and welcome to my blog as I share my daily lifestyle content with you all. It was Sunday and as Christians, we had to prepare for our usual Sunday service. I am more committed now to attending church services and it’s yielding fruits already. My major challenge now is to learn how to drive so that I can be able to drive with the kids to church when my husband is not around.
That said, my day started on a good footing as I wake up with a call from my husband knocking at the gate. He had traveled over night and arrived early in the morning. I was happy 😃 because our able driver is back hehehe. We have been suffering taking taxis around while the car was parked down and no one to drive.
I had to prepare breakfast, and also bath the kids and dressed them up for church service. My husband assisted in preparing the breakfast and fed the kids while I bath them and dressed them up. It was seriously raining and my husband had to drop us in church and returned home to rest.

We arrived in church when the service had already started and it was announcement time, then was testimony time, and then proceeded with the end of month thanksgiving service. All those born in June and anyone who has something that happened in June was asked to come out and thank God for their lives.
After the thanksgiving, the pastor prayed and blessed those involved and the choir administered. Immediately after the thanks giving, was the offerings. There was an atmosphere of worship and praise for over 3 minutes with the church choir leader powerfully administering “Ebuka songs”.
Then came the hour for the pastor to drop a powerful words based on the title of the service being covenant day of exemption. The pastor talked about the major theme of the day was “soul winning is profitable unto men”. We have to win more souls for Christ in order to be exempted from all the evil of the world. He drew inspiration from the gospel of “John 15:16”.
It was indeed an impactful service and at exactly 11:00 AM, church service was over and before we went out of church I was wondering how im gonna cope with three kids taking a taxi. Lucky for us, my husband was already in front of the church gate to pick us up. My toddler son was seriously sleeping and I had to wake him up.

We arrived home and I had to quickly heat left over food for us to eat as lunch. I napped for a while with the kids and got up to arrange some of the food items my husband brought. This was done to avoid them getting bad in the bag.
The evening hours were lovely as we seat together as a family to enjoy dinner I prepared Ogbono soup with fufu. Everyone enjoyed the meal but I decided to eat our local snacks. It was what I craved to eat at the time and it was available at home.

I also tried watching a Netflix series titled “Castle & Castle”. It was an amazing series but I could not finish even a single episode because I was exhausted for the day and needed rest. I had to take a warm bath as the weather was extremely cold and went to bed. It was indeed an impactful day and I wish all of us a blissful work week ahead✌️✌️.
