The Diary Game [27/06/2025] // Work and Run Errand.

Steem greetings guys from the motherland, Cameroon and welcome to my blog as I share with you all my daily lifestyle content. It was a work day for me though I'm working from home but I think it becomes more stressful with the kids at home during holidays.

At times I will decide not to talk and give a blind eye to any happenings in the house. Behold, you will start shouting again when you cannot withstand the happenings around the house.

Most often I have to accumulate the workload to be done at night when the kids are sleeping just to catch up with deadlines. This day was not indifferent as I had work late into the night but still could not complete the task. After completing my task by noon and I received a call from my elder sister to collect a parcel she had sent through a driver to me. This parcel contains my dresses and some other food items.

While on the way, I was worried that since it was Friday, there would be traffic in town and it would not be easy for me to sail through given that everyone will be in a hurry to either rush home or for a weekend vacation.

I was lucky that I arrived at the park when the parcel had just arrived. I presented my identity card and collected the parcel. Returning home, I saw a roadside vendor selling some accessories and it was raining and I did not have umbrella. I had to buy one so that I would not be caught in the rain when I got out of the taxi.

When I returned home, I had to prepare my concoction of rice for my kids. I always say, cooking has no formula and I love it when I create my own recipes. I removed some meat and veggies from the refrigerator to cook with. I just had to mix everything up and the rice was ready to be eaten. One thing about my recipes is that my kids often love them and they enjoy eating.

After feeding the kids, I heated water and bathed them because it was raining and the weather was cold. Then I had a siesta for about 2 hours when my sister inlaw came and asked me to take her to a shop where I buy my facials. When we arrived at the shop, I realised that some of her products I had used before but had searched for them for a while now and could not find the original products. I happily bought some which I believed would go a long way for me though she assured me of always having the products.

We return home and it was already evening hour and I heated the rice to feed my kids. One of our mothers in the church came with a special traditional delicacy for dinner. Its been long I last ate this meal, I did not hesitate to open one of them and enjoyed it though it was too spicy with lots of hot chilli.

When I was done eating, I took a glass of water to stay hydrated while I continued with my work online. I will have to work till late at night and until my next diary, I wish you all a splendid weekend ahead.
