The Diary Game [09/06/2025] // A Busy Day at Home.

Steem greetings, guys, and welcome to my blog as I share another exciting moment with my lifestyle content. It was a busy and stressful day at home. Working from home with kids during this long holiday period in Cameroon is not easy. I find myself not having proper rest, and presently, I have no choice but to cope with it.

My day started early at 4:00 AM, due to a meeting scheduled with a client discussing an upcoming project. It happened at that hour because the client is abroad and in a different time zone. We had an elaborate discussion for over 2 hours and concluded on the way forward. I am joining the project team as a gender, peace and security expert.

When we were done with the discussions, I had to prepare breakfast for my kids while they were still sleeping. I peeled potatoes and cut them into desirable slices to deep fry. I ensure that by the time my kids are awake, I am done and they are ready to eat. After frying the potatoes, I fried eggs to be eaten with the potato chips. It is a nice combination, loved by my kids. I had to feed my toddler son while the others ate alone. When it is their favourite meal, they eat alone, but when it is not their favourite, I have to spoon-feed them all.

After eating, I had some dirty dresses to soak and wash. I discussed with my husband to purchase a washing machine, though I do not really like using the washing machine on house dresses, because our environment makes it difficult for the machine to wash properly, until they are clean. I still prefer to handwash the house dresses, but I can use the machine to wash outing dresses.

I continued with my pending task on one of the projects I'm working on till the afternoon period, when I decided to take a walk around the neighbourhood. I came across a banana vendor moving around the neighbourhood with her three kids selling bananas. One of the children looked hungry and was crying to sit down, but the mother said they must sell all the bananas before they can return home. The bananas were not even looking good, but I just decided to buy them for the sake of that child. The mother was so happy when I bought all the bananas. She was so friendly until she told me she would one day come to my house to visit me.

I returned home after the walk and ate some of the bananas, and they were sweet. The weather was cold, and a good day to take a walk, and I felt relieved of my headache after the walk. I had to heat water to bathe my kids, and they also enjoyed the bananas as lunch. I then enter the kitchen to prepare dinner for them. I had in mind to prepare rice and tomato sauce, but they requested noodles. It served me time and was less stressful to prepare the noodles.

After the meal, I had to bathe again as temperatures were high in the evening hours. I logged in to my steemit account to curate and also to check on posts in the steem-cameroon community. Then I had to clear off all the dirty shoes I had to wash to ease my work the next day.

As I thought I had completed and fulfilled my tasks for the day, boom, at midnight, my husband's niece created a scene in the quarter that brought vigilantes to the house. She is writing the general certificate examination at the ordinary level and opened the gate at midnight and went far off so that she was going to collect a book. It was so unusual at that time of the night that vigilantes had to bring her back home, and we realised she was going somewhere else, and when we caught up, she lied about going to collect a book.

Despite the chaos caused by my husband's niece, it was a fruitful day for me as I completed all my tasks planned for the day. Until my next diary, enjoy the rest of your week.

Being busy at home is so important because you can't left your plans activities untouched, unlike in the office or any working place, you can close for the day when time comes. But at home, you will still do it as far as your eyes sees them. Your documentary really shows that you have been able to get things done the way you need their, the breakfast that you prepared was so wonderful even th aroma has country your country to my country Nigeria, the banana are so nice, they are fully ripe not partial, but I don't know if this is what they call 4 corner banana in my place, because people like the 4 corner banana so much. Mostly,I appreciate you for taking time to be on #steemit platform to carry out your daily activities tasks. When you are engaged in anything, every day you will be busy to make sure you finish up everything for the day. You did a nice job there and I hope nothing was left for the day,as a nursing mother it is not easy. But God will surely help everyone out.

Saludos amiga
Saludos cordiales!!

Your gesture of buying those bananas to help that family shows a generous and caring heart, a small but great act of kindness that really makes a difference
