The Diary Game [09/04/2025] // The Soccer Evening.

Steem greetings all the way from the motherland-Cameroon and welcome to my blog for another session with my lifestyle content. Guys, the day was some sort of a public holiday for me 💃💃, as I decided not to do any work for the day. After the shouting and screaming last night celebrating the victory of Arsenal over Real Madrid, I suffered a serious headache throughout the night.

I decided to take the day off from work and get proper rest. As an African mother, it is practically impossible to rest while at home because you turn to see that everything is going wrong so long as you are not the one doing it.

I had to still wake up early to prepare my daughter for her holiday coding classes. Her school organised coding classes during holidays and her name was among those selected.

When she left for the coding classes, I bathed my toddler son and the brother and equally fed them. Then I took them back to bed and we all slept off till about 2:00 PM. My daughter was also back home and I heated some leftover food and we ate for lunch. It was my plantain pork mixed with veggies and I added some avocado to it.

The long-awaited soccer hour came and one could feel the euphoria in town. Barca fans could be spotted with more relaxed minds and mocking Real Madrid fans. From the look of things, it shows that my city is majority Real fans and Barcelona fans but we all know that Real Madrid has the noisest fanbase hehehehe🤪.

I quickly switch on the TV to follow live commentary and pre-match talks. My husband was supporting Dortmund and PSG while I was a neutral supporter supporting good football.

I started watching the game between PSG and Aston Villa and I noticed that Aston Villa was more defensive while PSG was more attacking. I had to switch channels to watch the Barcelona game as the PSG game was not entertaining.

The first half of the games was more boring but the second half was somehow entertaining. PSG pressed on well during the second half of the game and defeated Aston Villa 3:1 after the 90-minute drama.

While Barcelona gave a humiliating 4:0 defeat to Dortmund. My day was well spent as I got enough rest and was ready to face a new task for the next day. Until my next diary guys, it is goodnight from my end to yours 🥰🥰🥰🥰.
