The Diary Game [07/05/2025] // Our Last Days in the Hospital after Caesarian Section.
Steem greetings @everyone from the motherland-Cameroon and welcome to my blog as I share my daily lifestyle content with you all. It's been a couple of days spent in the hospital with my sister-in-law after giving birth via caesarean section. There was no one to be with her in the hospital and I had to sacrifice a whole week for that though still struggling to meet up with the workload online.
It has not been an easy task given the fact that I'm also having a toddler son to take care of. It was day 5 of the caesarean section and the wound was supposed to be opened and clean. Upon waking up that day we noticed her hand where the cannula was put to use for injecting ceftriaxone was swollen and itching. I complained to the nurses early in the morning and it was strange to everyone.
When the nurses came to examine her hand, they noticed a wound had developed and they had to remove the cannula. I asked them what could be the cause. They said it showed her skin was sensitive to plaster. They had to remove everything and started searching for a new vein as she still had 2 doses of ceftriaxone to be administered.

It was a battle to find a new vein to place the new cannula and administer the remaining doses of ceftriaxone. Her hands were swollen, and it was difficult to pick the right vein. After a long hour of struggling, the nurses on duty called on a senior colleague to help. You could see the difference between an experienced and a professional who reacted so fast.

I had to heat water and bathe the newborn and my toddler son. We were preparing hoping that after the first wound dressing, we could be discharged to come back after some days for the wound dressing. I bathed and dressed up the baby and put her to sleep.

I went ahead to wash all dirty clothes we had accumulated at the hospital and sun them and later iron the dresses. I arranged the dresses in valis and rated for a while.
While napping, one of the hospital staff came in to inform me that the Champion’s League semi-final between Arsenal and PSG was going on. Guys it was a tiring day and I could not follow up with the game and had to catch some sleep and call it a day. Wait for the final day of wonderful from the hospital and have a wonderful night.
Saludos amiga,
Saludos Cordiales!!!
