The Diary Game [06/03/2025] // Frustrated Day
Steem greetings @everyone from the motherland-Cameroon and welcome to my blog as I share my daily lifestyle content with you all. Sundays are a day of worship for us Christians but I had no plans to go to church. For the past few days, I have been down with ill health suffering from malaria but on medications and fast recovering.

Last night before going to bed, my elder sister called me to inform me about a bag of food she was sending for my father. She had to send them to me and I collected and sent them to the village for my parents. She sent me the ticket she paid to send the bag and I will present the ticket number at the bus station to collect the bag.
I was expected to go to the bus station early in the morning to collect the bag. I left the house at about 8:30 AM and took a cab to the bus station. When I arrived there, I walked to the mail service department to collect the bag.

I showed them the ticket that was issued to the sender and they checked my serial code to my greatest surprise, I was told the mailbox from the destination had not yet arrived. I asked them if I should wait because going back home to come back later would be impossible for me and the next day gonna be a lockdown.

I stood there for almost an hour waiting with others and I became worried as I needed to take my medications and I was still hanging around the bus station waiting for the bus carrying the things to arrive.

After wasting hours waiting, I went back to the office angry 😡 and they opened up to me that the bus got bad on the way. This is one of the bus stations I hate because of the poor customer service they offer. There was no communication to inform us that parcels were not yet available else I would not have left the house to come and sit doing nothing. I asked them if they had communicated with the driver to know exactly where the bus got bad and to my greatest surprise no information was given. All we were told was to go back home and return later in the day.
I left frustrated and the next day gonna be a lockdown, meaning I would not be able to collect the bag on Tuesday. I took a cab back home and the weather was somehow good. I took my bath and heated food and we ate lunch. It was rice and tomato sauce with fried ripe plantains.

In the evening hours, I went for a walk on the street to relax. While walking, I came across a lady selling apples and grapes along the street. I stopped by to buy some grapes.

I returned home feeling refreshed and I immediately washed the grapes. My daughter and toddler son love grapes. We sat down while watching the English premiere league game between Manchester United versus Manchester City. I love South African grapes and apples, they are juicy and healthy.

Though a frustrating day as I was not able to collect the bag of food, the evening hours were awesome while enjoying the grapes and watching the Premiere League games for the day. Until my next diary session, it is goodnight from my end.
Hola amiga, que lástima que se dañó el autobús y no pudiste retirar la bolsa para tu padre.
}Espero que mejores de salud. Cuídate mucho.
Saludos y bendiciones para ti.
We have a government that does not care how bad the roads look like. The common man had to suffer. I'm better as of today and thank you for reaching out to me.
