The Diary Game [05/07/2025] // Saturday Vibes

Steem greetings, guys from the motherland, Cameroon, and welcome to my blog for another session of my diary game. It was the weekend, and I often dedicated a day to our local market to buy foodstuffs from farmers.

Before going to the market, I had to prepare breakfast for the family. By the time I was done preparing the breakfast, they were still sleeping and I left for the
Market.

While on my way to the market, I met my sister-in-law, who joined me. We walked together to the market. The first thing I had to buy on my list was beef. At this market, beef is usually sold early in the morning, and by afternoon, it is finished. The market is not large but it has almost everything to serve the needs of the population. My sister inlaw asked me to help her buy yams because she is not good at bargaining. In our markets, if you cannot bargain well🤦‍♀️, you will end up buying at exorbitant prices.

I left her at the Yam Corner because she was indecisive and wasting my time. I went and walked to the section where the vegetables were sold. I bought some vegetables and fresh tomatoes and spices to preserve in the fridge for further use.

I hurriedly picked the remaining items on my list and walked back home. While at home I realised my toddler son needed diapers and their body lotion had finished. I went back to a nearby store and purchased the items and returned home.

I was feeling tired and I decided to nap for a while before continuing with house chores. While I was having a nap, my toddler son became hungry and I had to get up from the sheet and prepare his afternoon meal. I fed him and then heated water to wash my daughter’s hair. The hair has long overdue to be washed and I blow-dried it and started plaiting.

Plaiting the hair was not an easy task because I'm not a professional but I just wanted something to make her face shine and give her a new look. While plaiting the hair, I had to follow the FIFA Club World Cup match between Paris Saint-Germain versus Bayern. It was a tough game and both teams played well during the first half of the game. The second half of the game was still tough though PSG break through Bayern’s defence and conquered the day with a 2:0 victory. It was a fantastic game with PSG receiving 2 red cards off the field but yet Bayern could not still win the show.

The final game of the day was between Real Madrid versus Dortmund and I wish Dortmund could win against Real and save us from the noise in the neighbourhood by Real fans. But that wish did not come through as we had to succumb to the noise.

After the games, I decided to prepare against Sunday service and also drop my diary post before saying goodnight from my end.
