The Diary Game [03/04/2025] // 12 Hours Journey by Day with My Toddler
Steem greetings @everyone from the motherland-Cameroon and welcome to my blog for another session of my lifestyle content. It was an impromptu trip as I did not plan on making such a trip with my toddler son. There was an emergency in the family that made my husband decide for me to travel.

I had to get up early to pack my luggage and prepare the kid's food before leaving. At least it is somehow the rainy season in Cameroon and temperatures are somehow better but not still friendly for my son.
I left the house by 7:00 AM and took a cab to the bus station. I had to book a ticket though the bus's kickoff time is from 10:00 AM. I had no choice but to go early to the bus station to book a good seat for myself. When we arrived at the bus station, I realised that few passengers were available and this was already a sign that there would be setbacks on the road.

After paying and obtaining a ticket, I placed my luggage on the suit of the car and stood for a while chatting with my husband while waiting for the kickoff time. There was a delay as predicted and my husband had to leave. We sat on the bus for almost an hour before we kicked off at about 10:30 AM.

Along the way, we noticed that the vehicle had developed a fault. The passengers started grumbling and some went to the driver to tell him why he kicked off when he knew the car was not in a good state. He explained that his bus was used by another driver and management asked him to use the old bus.
We arrived at a stop spot to rest and also relax and eat. That was almost 4:30 PM and the journey was still ahead. We asked the driver to be sharp and to continue with the journey. Unfortunately, we arrived at a point where the driver stopped to drop off a passenger and police control collected the vehicle's documents for stopping at the wrong point.
After a long struggle begging the police officer, the documents were handed and we took off. I arrived at my destination late at about 10:30 PM in the night. I could not go straight to the house as I had a stopover at the hospital to check on my sister-in-law who was booked for surgery.

We could not stay long at the hospital because my toddler son was restless. We had to go home at about 12:30 midnight to take a shower and get good rest before returning to the hospital the next day. Until my next diary, I wish you all a happy Sunday.
