Check out the lights and their efficient panels

It's been a busy week and months as Steem solar and electricals is handling a mini community project or will I say.., a big project of its kind to Steem solar & electricals

This is when I was fixing the light hanger on the light's body

Some of my folks didn't understand my busy schedule when I explained, but it's all fine, I still move regardless.

For a couple of weeks now, I have been installing some solar street lights on electricity poles.

These lights should have been hung on their poles, but since it would reduce much expenses for the owners, they decided to use the electrical pole which is already there.

It was a 1000W all-in-one solar street light.

This first installation is going to be 30 units. The second phase of the installation will be 50 units, while the third phase of the installation will be just 5 units. All these 1st, 2nd, and 3rd installations will be at different locations entirely.

I'll try as much as I can to capture these events and also write about them here.

I am already done with the first phase of the installation at its own site. That was yesterday. This was stressful, but it was a success and a win to Steem electricals

I had already contracted a welder who fabricated the lights hanger just as you can see above.

Step 1: I first installed the hangers on the pole. I thighthen it properly to avoid wind disruption. I actually used 4 hours to achieve this.

Step 2: I fixed the lights and adjust it to a proper position for good illumination.
Note that I installed these lights at 7 meters high as you can see in the above picture.
Electric poles in Nigeria are mostly 9 meters.

Basically, these were just the few steps I took and as I am typing this text, these lights are already shining.

This is a big win for Steem solar & electricals!

I'll update the second phase once I begin that later today, hopefully. Stay tuned.

If you are an installer and have questions , please feel free to ask - let's learn.

wow that´s a bigger kind of projct now, I´m glad to see that you are making progress with your business.
Let me ask you a question which came up when I saw the pictures, is it allowed to fix things directly on the electric poles ?
Because not in Germany, nor in Italy or Spain we would be allowed to do so without having a permit from the gridoperator.

sunny greetings from Andalusia Spain

Thank you so much for the compliment.

Well...In Nigeria, individuals cannot install solar streetlights on grid electrical poles without seeking permission and adherence to regulations.

My client has already gotten a permit from the authority otherwise, I wouldn't have climb that pole to start with , maybe by now, I would been in police custody 😅. So everything is settled.

Ok, thank you for your reply, that´s what I was thinking would be the rule in Nigeria too, and anyway good to hear that you otherwise had to find another solution, maybe a Palm tree 😂
