Zoom Starts Showing Ads To Its Free Users
Video conferencing application Zoom will start showing ads to all free users so that the platform can continue to be used for free. However, ads will only be shown if the caller is also a free user.
Although Zoom has paid packages that provide unlimited talk time and offer different advantages, it can also be used completely free of charge.
It is testing a feature that will allow ads to be shown to users in the 'Basic' package, which free users benefit from. However, contrary to the fear of many users, these ads will not be shown during the call, but after the call is over. Zoom has also already assured that users will not be disturbed by advertisements during the call in the future.
Finally, free users will only see ads on the platform under one condition. If the person who started the call is the user who benefits from the free package, all free users in the call will see ads. But if the initiator of the call is the paid user, all the free users in the call will get rid of the ads.
I would appreciate if you let me know what you think about it in the comments.
