Black Ants on White Orchid Flower

in shadow&reflection2 months ago

Hello dear hive friends, how are you all? I. Praying for your good health and successful life.

Ants were known to be the most hard-working insects. They can be seen working all year round especially when the weather is good. Ants have lots of varieties depending on their size and color. They look for food everywhere and sometimes before the rain comes, they Transfer their Queen's eggs to higher ground for safety.

In this photo are black ants getting their food in the white orchid flower, which is planted by my mother-in-law in her backyard.

The ants were feeding on the flower but have not done damage to it's flower's petals. Scrolling in the pictures, I saw aphids then came a theory, The ants were feeding on the aphids, and I hope they did.

I had hard time getting perfect photo for the sun was so bright and the wind is blowing the orchid causing it to swing.

I hope you enjoyed my not-perfect photography. Thank you
