Today, I will write the Broiler Project homework of mentor @rmm31 for week 05 of the Steemit challenge session 24. This week's session is Steemit Challenge S24| Broiler Projec W5. I hope everyone will like my writing.

Today, my chickens are four weeks old. So, per your advice, I have completely changed the food bowl, water bowl and housing. In the first task, I maintained the consistency of the food and water bowls. Today, I have completely changed the food bowls for my chickens. I have long had a hobby of hanging plastic bowls and feeding the chickens. Even though I am finishing the session, I will keep the chickens in this way in the future, so I have purchased food bowls.

I have increased the amount of food given to the chickens compared to the previous week. This week, the chickens are eating more food as they have gained weight. Although the chickens have not gained enough weight, it was a learning experience for me. I made a mistake when purchasing my chickens. I think I purchased C-grade broiler chickens. Later, I will definitely purchase A-grade chickens. The broiler project of Session 24 has taught me some important things.

I have tried a lot to increase the amount of chicken feed. I have purchased two or three types of broiler chicken feed. However, the chickens eat less food and do not gain weight. I am taking care of the chickens every hour during my office work.

I still continue to feed my chickens vitamins as they are not gaining enough weight. I am feeding them two vitamins called Calplex and Zis Vet. I mix 4 ml of vitamins with one litre of water and feed them to the chickens four days a week. I do not keep the vitamin-mixed water for more than one day. The next day, I mix the vitamins with the water again. I have not yet gained sufficient knowledge about chicken vitamins. However, I will gain more understanding about chicken vitamins later.

I feed the chickens glucose when it is too hot. I mix ten grams of glucose in half a litre of water and feed it to the chickens. It is summer in our country now, so the weather is very hot. Then, I keep the chickens inside the electrical substation so the temperature is slightly higher.

3 Construir el Embudo de Sacrificio mostrando el paso a paso. (5 puntos)

Step 01:

This is my first time making a sacrificial funnel. First, I collect two plastic bottles. Then, I watch the video on making a sacrificial funnel given by the mentor. Then, I cut both sides of the plastic bottle with a pair of scissors. I cut the part of the plastic mouth less. It is shown in the picture below.

Step 02:

I then cut two plastic bottles in the same way, cutting one side of each bottle in the middle. Then, I inserted one plastic bottle inside the other, as shown in the picture below.

Step 03:

Then, I connected one side of the two plastic bottles and sew it with thread. Now, the two bottles are connected together, and they look bigger. Then, I tied a thread in the middle of the sacrificial funnel. It is shown in the picture below.

Then, I put one of my chickens inside the sacrificial funnel and hung it. The picture below shows how I made a sacrificial funnel using the above method.

4 Realizar el mantenimiento de la cama de cría, mostrar el proceso de limpieza, continuar con la ventilación en caso de tener climas calurosos. (2 puntos)

I have entirely changed the chicken house. I have made it with twice the space as before. I cut two boxes. Then, I put the two boxes side by side and tied them with twine. Then, I put heavy paper under the box. If the space is very large, it will be easier for the chickens to digest the food. I make arrangements for sufficient air to enter and exit.

I collected about four big boxes from our office. I will keep the boxes for raising chickens later. Many of my office colleagues have expressed their desire to raise chickens in the way I have seen. I will go to my village home and create a broiler chicken project. My confidence has increased after I dared to raise chickens in boxes in the office.

Then, I put wood chips on top of the heavy paper as bedding for the chickens. The wood chips dry out the chicken droppings and reduce the dirt. Then, I set up the food and water bowls inside the box. The chickens are running around in their new home. I am very happy to have made a large box for the chickens.

The chickens are trying to fly in a prominent place, flapping their wings. I saw the chickens running for a while. They are able to run because they are underweight. Then, after some time, the chickens calm down after eating food and drinking water. I took a few pictures of the chickens sleeping.

Even after I fed the chickens with good-quality broiler food, they are not gaining much weight. This week, the chickens gained 168 and 162 grams, respectively, compared to last week, when they gained almost the same amount. I have talked to a few shops that sell broiler chicken food in our country. Everyone has advised me to feed the above foods.

After that, my chickens were still healthy. I will take care of them in the coming weeks, even though they will take time to gain weight. I have collected vitamins and various chicken disease medicines to keep the chickens healthy.

The broiler chicken project has shown me the mistakes. I was fortunate to learn by participating in such an educational session on the Steemit platform before doing a big broiler chicken project. Many broiler chicken farmers in our country run the wrong project, causing financial losses.

Today, I noticed the chickens eating and moving much better after changing the chicken feeder and housing. By keeping the feeder slightly higher, the chickens eat food, and less food is wasted. Finally, I am very happy with raising broiler chickens.
