rv-experience // Working at a Construction Site on a Rainy Day.

in Reflexiones de Vidayesterday (edited)
I left the house 🏡 early to work on a construction site. There was no sign that it was going to be a rainy Thursday. But on my way, the sky changes and a rain cloud covered the earlier beautiful sunrise. I thanked God that I had already boarded a bus if not so I would have been soaked because I did not go with my rain coat. At the bus stop, I had to board another vehicle(tricycle) that will take me directly to the site. I did just that. When I got there, the situation was not different as the rain intensified. At this point I was idle; the condition I don't like to see myself.

I couldn't help but to inform my boss about how the terrain was. I took picture of the ground and made a short video to be sent to my superior.

When I lifted my eye from the screen of phone, behold it was my boss who just arrived. I went to his car and he asked what time I had arrived and how the ground(terrain)was. I told him everything.

He decided that work will be halted for that day because of the muddy ground recalling how our caterpillar got stuck in mud the previous day.
He also added that my coming out that day will not be in vain, that he will pay me for the day.

I was so happy because the next day, our religious convention was to begin and last for three days. And I had guests who were visiting from afar to stay in my house and attend the convention.
So I was grateful to my boss and his assistant for the kind gesture to support me at that moment.
That was how I experienced the Thursday. It started by raining but I was favoured by earning.
