Hello again my dear friends! I'm glad to be here with you again today. I hope you are well well and healthy.

In this post, I'm sharing with you the hardest project I did. Its diameter is 36 inches and I did lots of frogging in this. If you are a crocheter, you would know what frogging is but to let you know, frogging is a crocheter's way of saying ripping off what was done.

I was like gluttonous in this project not for the project itself and not for food. (sorry the term is so hard for me, if you know the exact term, please teach me). Miss Yhamma, a fellow employee in the company that I worked for, but she is now assigned to the slaughter department asked me to do this for her kitchen table. I loved crochet so much that I never said "NO". This is the second project that I did for her and in this two, she never really gave me the exact size of her table diameter.

Not knowing the size of the project you have to do is like driving a motorcycle in the city with eyes closed. I sent her my Facebook page link for her to see what design she would like me to do, a little later, she sent it back to me. I was so glad I had an account in Pinterest and found a free pattern there easily.

Most of the time, I did the project at night especially when the kids are asleep. This time we are temporarily living in my mother-in-law's house. it had a quite small space so I had to do my crocheting in bed. There was a misunderstanding back at our home and we just thought we needed a new environment for us to live in.

I bring the project everywhere. I bring it to work and do it every lunch break. I did quite fast doing the project but later, I got disappointed with it. It curls up, the petals don't flatten and I hate it.

Perhaps it's normal not to like my work because I really wanted to achieve something I think I can but haven't quite done it.

Good thing that my brain is thinking of the solution even when I'm asleep. Or maybe I am overthinking things that made me think of it even in sleep. An idea came, I won't be frogging the blue thread, but I have to sacrifice and cut the oversized daisy flower in the canter and replace it with a flower made in a tighter tension.

Even when I was not done in replacing it yet, the difference is very visible. I'm glad my brain brought up the idea.

After replacing the center flower, I'm contented with the result even if it is still curling. So I made my way to continue on the project.

Since we were not living in our house this time where the green yarn that I needed, I practiced on this acrylic yarn, a branded one which is thicker than the one I really used. I'm quite proud that I did it only once. The diagram is not clear on what I should do step by step but imagining things how they work will help a lot in achieving something in crochet.

I did the green part in just one lunch break. And I'm happy with it.

I did not realize this until I came to this part, it made me want to give up. Little daisies were so complicated to do, So much labor, so little thing finished. It got me frustrated and bored.

Well, life is not about beds of roses. I have to continue doing this to earn a little extra. I also remembered me saying "challenge me" before this project. It's funny how high I see myself and how talented I think I am.

Then I figured a way on how to make my work a little faster. I made lots of the center part then I would be attaching it as I go on with the project.

Voila! It's almost done, that's what I thought but when I showed miss Yhamma the size, she said she wanted even bigger. I really had no idea how to make it bigger without a pattern but I'm so motivated to finish the project and start on another one.

I really can't remember how I did this nor I can remake this. It feels like somebody handed me a special power, haha! Would you beleive it if someone did actually lend me a super power?

Haah! I could finally breathe free that the project is really almost done. All that's left is to secure the edges of the yarns, Mind you, It is still hard doing it, and giving the number of edges that I have to fix is every crocheter's dilemma.

By the way, out of my boredom on this project, I made a little side project using a tapestry method well I'm not sure already what to call it. I had fun until I noticed that the spelling is wrong. How could I?! It was my name and I misspelled it, haha.

The project is never complete without lots of coffee. and my husband too, he supported me and kept me entertained during my late-night works.

I kept the doily in this position for over five minutes admiring my work. I had lots of fun doing this, and lots of learning too. Too bad after doing this project I got sick overworking myself.

Seem Power UP

Crocheters are more prone to sickness due to little time of rest. I then planned to only crochet for fun. Oh, I almost forgot. Miss Yahmma is happy with what I made her especially that I asked her for a little price.
