My Eldest Daughter's First Day of School

Hello, everyone! I hope we are all in God's grace and mercy. School had opened recently and it was so much fun especially that my kids are excited and enjoyed school just like they have to but let me take you back to the day my eldest daughter stepped on the elementary school.

Recently, I share about my daughter's graduation in kindergarten and of course, the following step would be the elementary.

During my time, I was a visitor in school and passed and was able to proceed grade one when I was still 6 years old, one year younger than what children's age should be and I guess this is one of the many reason why there are parts of schooling that I could not understand, I was too childish and immature, there are things that I wished I did not do but yeah, bygones are bygones and I could not turn back time now.

My daughter is the right age as the standard and she was very eager to go to school even though we are still unsure of how thins will be going . She and her cousin has the same teacher and it was easier for us especially when it was time to go home because sometimes, she can have someone who can watch over her while going home.I and my husband are going to work and we had to work hard to provide for the whole family.

I was very happy seeing my daughter being so attentive of her teacher and it made me very proud that she was interested in school. The first day of school, she did not have uniform yet but that was never a hindrance to her going to school

After the first class, the teacher informed us that her classes will be from 7 am to 10 am only and on the afternoon, another set of kids she will be teaching. Mam Taline was a very good teacher, and my daughter learned a lot form her from writing to reading and basic math.

For now, my daughter is in the sixth grade, and she will be graduating next year by the grace of God and I will have a high schooler child where adventures will be much more fun! I am very excited for my daughter!

For this, I realized that we do all start small and we finish great especially when we work very hard for our goals and of course, by the help and blessings form the Lord.
