A Quick visit to the Farm: Taking the Chain Block to the Working Men
Hello everyone! I hope you are well and healthy and your family.
Today is Sunday and is my rest day from work, and my husband told me that we will be needing to get the chain block from the farm because some guys need to dig and relocate the huge rock that is on the road intended on the way to the area we bought some time ago.
That morning, I was too sleepy to get up as my alarm went on so I just turned it off as it rang and slept until 6:30 am. I had been lacking sleep from the previous nights before so I had to make up of the time of rest.
Riding my husband's motorcycle, we went to the farm, my daughter's were with my mother so they didn't have to come.l, beside, we won't fit on the vehicle.
It was a sunny day and good thing my sunglasses arrived two days before and it served me well today.
We had to fill the gas tank first, we bought gas for 100 pesos, that's about 14 steem in today' s value of .1234 (binance rate4.6.25 21:24)
On the way, we saw JJ, my husband's former boxing student who was jogging for training. We said hi as we passed by.
We also had a hard time during our travel because a huge truck was ahead of us giving us lots of dust on the way. My husband tried to get ahead first but it seems like the driver did not notice us. The road was full of muddy puddle as well because the huge trucks that passes by breaks the raid causing it to hold thhe rainwater for days and giving a slurry mud on the way.
Soon we arrived on the farm and my mother's guard dog was very excited to see us. I even regretted not being able to bring her food but good things I brought bread with me on my bag and gave some to her. She was very happy of my little gesture.
Since we were already in the farm, we took some time to look at our crops, our cassava were already as tall as me but there are parts where the grass were taller despite the huge effort we poured to make sure of getting rid of them the last time.
This made me think of where to get Money again to spend to get rid of the grass.
Further ahead was our corn, we got late in giving them fertilizer so they were not able to grow normally. They were malnourished but God is good and they were5 able to bear corn and we won't lose hope of harvesting some corn soon.
Soon we opened the house and took the chain block out and brought it to the place where the men needs to work with the huge rock. My husband also gave them 500 pesos, that's 71 steem to them to buy snacks because he cannot get to work with them later. The two parties were both thankful to each other and we soon left.
For today's power up of 2 steem, I almost forgot but thank God, I was able to keep and stick to the plan of powering up 2 steem a day. I hope this will develop in to an attitude and I will be able to grow in steem keeping in mind that I could not do this without your support.
I started with 1,329.736 steem power today and ended up with 1,331.743 steem power. This is just a small amount of power up but to me it's one step of growth.
This will be all for now, thank you so much for your time and support. Keep safe and stay blessed!
